Overview

Pulsar Process Measurement Ltd manufactures and supplies level, volume, open channel flow, pipe flow, sludge interface measurement and pump control instrumentation. Since 1997, Pulsar has risen to become one of the leading non-contacting measurement instrumentation manufacturers and their products are used in a wide variety of industries and applications worldwide.

By taking a step forward in echo processing technology, Pulsar has been able to address applications previously thought to be beyond the scope of ultrasonic level measurement and their improved initial signal processing at the transducer head has made it possible to increase resistance to electrical noise thus widening the number of possible applications.

Point Level Devices

  • Float Switches Pulsar Point Level Devices: A specially designed seal bonds the cable into the float, preventing water ingress, whilst allowing flexibility and ensuring reliable operation.
  • Pulsarpoint 300 Pulsar Rotating Paddle Switch: Pulsarpoint 300 is a rotating paddle level switch for level measurement and switching on bulk solids. The paddle’s rotation is interrupted when the material reaches the paddle, causing a clutch to disengage the motor. This in turn actuates a relay allowing an alarm signal to be switched.
  • Pulsarpoint 310 Pulsar Rotating Paddle Switch: The Pulsarpoint 310 has a diecast aluminum housing sealed to IP66, with a process connection in aluminium, or stainless steel.
  • Pulsarpoint 200 Series Pulsar Vibrating Level Switches: Pulsarpoint 200 Series is a vibrating level switch for bulk solid applications. When solid material comes into contact with the vibrating probe, the frequency of oscillation changes. This is detected and a signal is generated to provide a changing relay output.
