For general purpose applications, the value-priced ALMAG-WP is the meter of choice. This meter is offered with wafer type and ANSI & DIN flanged process connections and features an easy-to-read OLED display module that provides a variety of industry standard outputs including frequency/pulse, analog 4-20 mA, RS-485/Modbus, Profibus, and HART. A wide variety of material selections are available for the ALMAGWP’s liner and electrodes, ensuring that it can be fabricated to be compatible with virtually any conductive fluid.

Coriolis Flow Meter

Smartmeasurement’s ALCM Coriolis series are offered with the highest accuracies available in industry. Accuracy grades of 0.1, 0.15, 0.2 and 0.5% of reading are available. The ability to maintain these levels of mass flow accuracy regardless of media temperature, density or viscosity and then install the meter in areas with extremely tight space constraints and no available straight pipe runs makes the Coriolis meter a potential life saver for many applications where a traditional-technology flowmeters will not work.

Positive Displacement Flow Meter

Positive displacement flowmeters, or PD meters, feature two precisely machined intermeshing gears which rotate within a measuring chamber to determine the volumetric liquid flow rate by counting the number of the gears’ rotations. Positive displacement flow meters function in much the same manner as a positive displacement pump with the exception being that in the Positive Displacement pump the gears drive the fluid media, whereas in the PD flowmeter the fluid media drives the gears. Vortex Flow Meter

Vortex flow sensing technology relies on measuring the number of vortex pulses generated by a bluff body immersed in the flow stream. The SMC Vortex meter uses dual sensor technology, producing two independent vortex signals which allow for signal amplification and common mode noise reduction.

Our sensors never touch the process fluid; the crystal sensors are bonded behind a stainless steel wall. The electronics pick up the slightest pressure pulsations generated by the vortices through the stainless steel wall. This design allows meters to have an extremely wide turndown while maintaining an almost unlimited upper end and a high pressure rating.

Thermal Flow Meters

SmartmeasurementTM, s ATMF series of thermal mass flowmeters can be used with pipe diameters ranging from 8mm (¼”) to up to several meters using our multi-sensor configurations.  Process connections can be flanged, threaded, or hot-tapped ball valve.  SmartmeasurementTM’ s ATMF Series Thermal Mass Flowmeters feature available integral style or remote mount electronics, an easy-to-read OLED display, and a unique calibration self-check technique that allows for field verification of the factory calibration.

Turbine Flow Meters

SMC’s low-cost ALTM turbine flow meters are used for the precise measurement of instantaneous flow rates of low-viscosity fluids such as tap and demineralized water, fuels, liquefied gases, light fuel oils, solvents, and pharmaceutical fluids.

ALTM turbine flow meters (hereinafter referred to as turbines) are used for the precise measurement of instantaneous flow rates of low- viscosity fluids as tap and demineralized water, fuels, liquefied gases, light fuel oils, solvents, and pharmaceutical fluids.

Differential Pressure Meter

SmartMeasurement’s ACONE differential pressure flowmeter is designed for the harshest operating environments and the widest variety of fluids. This sensor consistently outperforms traditional ΔP devices and other major flow technologies.

The ALDPT-3051 is an intelligent differential pressure transmitter making use of advanced microprocessor technology with digital communication. This instrument makes use of advanced capacitive sensor technology and is capable of measuring all three media phases – liquids, gasses, and steam. The ALDPT-3051 includes an array of features including self-diagnostic capability, field-adjustable parameter settings, and auto-zeroing at a much lower price versus competitive
offerings.

The ALDPT-MV (Multi Variable Differential Pressure) measures three separate process variables simultaneously and provides dynamic calculation of fully compensated mass flow rate for steam and liquids as well as standard volume flow for gases. It measures differential pressure and absolute pressure from a single sensor and process temperature from a standard PT 100 Resistance Temperature Detector (RTD).

Variable Area Meters

The ALVAMT rugged metal tube variable area meters (rotameters) are ideal for high pressure, high temperature and other demanding flow applications where safety is a concern. Features include: mechanical readouts for use in locations where power is not available or in hazardous areas; analog and digital LCD local display options, multiple process connection options; several available materials of construction for metering of aggressive fluids and corrosion resistance; and HART enabled 4-20mA output to provide for remote monitoring and control.

Energy Meter

Alsonic Building Automation – Energy meters employ transit-time ultrasonic flow measuring technology combined with two integrated PT1000 RTD temperature sensors for calculating both total and instantaneous energy consumption. These in-line style flow sensors are available for line sizes ranging from ½” to 12″. The Alsonic BA Energy meter may be used to provide highly accurate thermal energy measurement in chilled water, hot water and condenser water systems.
