From the beginning, as the sole distributor throughout the UK for Versa Valves, the company has grown where other ranges of valves have been added that are complimentary and are also required by these industries.

We now represent Ruelco with high pressure pneumatic switches and valves, along with ITT Neodyn and Conoflow pressure switches and regulators. Dr Breit stainless steel hydraulic solenoid valves and Deltrol flow control valves complete the distribution programme.

All of these products are widely accepted for valve actuator controls, wellhead and work-over logic control systems, fire damper and deluge systems, and emergency shutdown systems, as well as many other applications requiring pneumatic instrument valves and hydraulic control valves. The Company is a member of the BVAA – British Valve and Actuator Association and has been registered with FPAL for many years.

We work to the latest Q.A. standards – EN ISO 9001. The scope of supply is for the design, build, repair, test, inspection, distribution and sales of pneumatic and hydraulic associated equipment. This has allowed us to set up a section within the Company that has been appointed as a distributor for SMC industrial pneumatic products, and also produces bespoke control panels designed to customers’ requirements.

Although the background of the company is in pneumatics, we are able to take on the manufacture of most types of electro-pneumatic, hydraulic, vacuum and electrical control systems. The Control and Automation division can design, build, and produce control panels and systems, as well as still supply the very best in solenoid valves and instrument valves.

Versatile Controls produce bespoke local control cabinets to go into the Process and Oil & Gas industries. We are familiar with certification and ATEX approvals through our links with the oil & gas industry.

Pressure Testing

Several large local manufacturers needed equipment to hydraulically test their new range of products for leaks. Versatile Controls designed and built test booths to give their operators a simple and reliable method of leak detection. All systems were CE marked.

Versa Valves extensive variety of directional control valves comprises of seven distinct series, constructed from three types of material – aluminium, brass, and 316 stainless steel. These valves may be actuated by solenoid, pilot, manual or mechanical actuators and are manufactured to ISO 9001 standards, with many meeting SIL 3 capability.
