GKM Helix 4000 Woltmann Cold Water Meter is a Woltmann-type meter designed for measuring bulk forward and reverse flows of cold potable water for revenue billing in commercial or industrial applications and distribution system monitoring.
Its inductive register enables improved output performance and security while its robust shroud and copper ensure long term clear and accurate readability. The GKM Helix 4000 Woltmann is also compatible with the Emeris PR7 inductive pulse transmitter for effective water resource monitoring and management.
Available in six sizes for flow ratesbetween 0.504 m3/h and 787.5 m3/h, the GKM H4000 operates at temperatures up to 50°C and a maximum working pressure of 16 bar. Accuracy maintained in both forward and reverse flow, and the product of fers the benefits of inductive-based pulse communications technology. The meter complies with all relevantinternational quality standards such as OIML R49 and ISO 4064 specifications for forward flow installations in horizontal, vertical andinclined pipelines.
Like all Elster meters, the GKM H4000is manufactured from the highest qualitymaterials for maximum resistance towear and corrosion. Meter body and cover are epoxy powdercoated for protection in all environments. Thrust pads and stub spindles aremanufactured intungsten carbide and jewelled rotorbearings are used for maximum wear life. All wetted materials areUK WRAS approvedagainst health risk.
Installation can be in horizontal, verticaland inclined pipelines. The GKM H4000also achieves good performance inabnormal installations.
Fully compatible with Elster’s Emerisrange of intelligent meter readingsystems, GKM H4000 can provide even more vital management information to assistwith ef fective distribution management,reduce water losses from leakage andimprove customer service. Whencombined with the Emeris TRC600 unit(pictured below), a range of intelligentfeatures including leakage alarms, datalogging and tariffs enables a completemetering system that addresses theef ficiency objectives for water providers.
