Pulsar Sludge Finder 2 Blanket Level Detector

Pulsar Sludge Finder 2 Blanket Level Detector

Sludge Level Sensor Finder 2 provides reliable and continuous sludge blanket level measurement. The two-part system has been purposely designed for sludge blanket level measurement, operating ultrasonically through a liquid.

Sludge Level Sensor General Information

The Sludge Finder 2 uses proven echo processing algorithms to identify the sludge interface level using state of the art technology only found in this unit!

Sludge blanket level control is a crucial aspect of any process that includes primary settlement tanks, secondary settlement tanks, tertiary settlement tanks either with stationary or traveling bridges, clarifiers, gravity thickeners, or sequencing batch reactor systems. Sludge blanket level measurement works by measuring the distance between the sludge blanket surface and the water level. Once the sludge has reached the required density, the accompanying controller will then switch on the pumps and pump the sludge through into digesters, ready for the next treatment stage.

Effective sludge blanket level measurement can help treatment plants or industrial processes to generate their own electricity, ensure that pumps are being used efficiently, ensure that excess sludge is not being pumped into our local water sources, aids with compliance to health, safety, and environmental regulations, and finally, ensures that further sludge handling processes such as thickeners and dewatering equipment are all performing to their maximum with the correct concentration of sludge.

Sludge Level Sensor Pulsar Finder 2 Features

Self-Cleaning Viper Sludge Sensor

The Viper sludge transducer can be positioned up to 200m (656ft) from the controller and has a measurement range of 0.3m to 10 metres (0.98 – 32.8ft) – accuracy is 0.25% of the measured range. A tight 6° beam angle makes confined or cluttered applications easy and the self-cleaning face removes the need for regular inspection and maintenance – meaning you can avoid that unhygienic and hazardous task you hate!

Easy Set-up

The Sludge Finder 2 controller is easy to install by following the on-screen menu driven set-up – simply follow the screen prompts to enter your application parameters and then the system automatically tracks the sludge blanket interface.

Flexible – User Specific

Sludge Finder 2 offers a wealth of different options depending on requirements for your application.
