About Gerand Flow Meter G-1500-8-VW-F
A flow meter made especially for testing fire pump performance is the Gerand G-1500-8-VW-F. It can tolerate pressures of up to 1500 PSI and measures the water flow rate in fire prevention systems with an accuracy of ±2.0%. With a regular dial size of 4 1/2 inches and a 6-inch option, this meter uses a dry diaphragm type. It can be configured using the Butt-Weld (VW-B) model. Additional advantages include the use of colour coding on hoses, fittings, meters, and venturi for simple assembly, FM Approved certification, and a bracket welded to the venturi for a stable installation. For guidance, metal installation and operating tags are also provided.
