Hengstler 466 Safety Relays

Hengstler 466 safety relays, HENGSTLER provides a solution for all those applications that involve a high number of electric switching contacts. At the same time, the max. installation height of 20.5 mm enables a high component density to be achieved.

To ensure that our relays as used in your applications carry on doing their job reliably for years, the quality of products bearing the HENGSTLER name is the highest priority. All our locations are certified to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001, and the entire product range is, as you would expect, in conformity with RoHS and REACH regulations.

For decades, HENGSTLER has been intensively involved in matters relating to forcibly guided, or captive, contacts and, as a result, with safety relays. Our large, international customer base benefits from this experienced gathered over many years when it comes to developing and manufacturing relays with forcibly guided contacts. The safety relay is designed for the highest possible degree of reliability, robustness and a long electrical life-time. As a result, these safety relays can be used wherever high availability is essential, even at high switching loads.

The drive system can be supplied as a monostable version either for DC or AC. In addition, the H-466 relay is available as a DC bistable version. For special applications, it is possible to quote solutions in which the load current is fed direct to the relay coil, which enables the correct functioning of the load to be monitored. H-466 safety relays conform to EN 50205 standard, Application type A, and IEC EN 61810-1. In addition, these safety relays also meet the requirements for railway signal relays in accordance with UIC 736e.
