In 1967, John K. Max founded a urethane processing equipment company. A critical component in the design, our precision flow meters were developed for high accuracy over a wide range. Piston Flow Meter

Dynamic flow industries like aerospace/automotive testing, machine tool cycling, and valve testing rely on Max meters to provide high resolution rapid 1.6 millisecond response times for their data collection.

Max Piston Meters are not sensitive to changes in flow profile, fluid density, or viscosity. No straight pipe runs or flow conditioners needed. Choose from frequency or analog transmitter options. High temperature models up to 225°C available. CE Certified, Ex-proof version available with ATEX/IECEx and UL/cUL certifications.

Max HZ Gear Meters are built out of 316 stainless steel for increased corrosion resistance in the exposed environments of the oil and gas industry and other process industries.

Water Flow Meter

Measure low flows down to 1 cc/min for all your peroxide based curing and catalyst chemical needs. Choose from frequency or analog transmitter options. Not for use in hazardous environments. Maximum temperature rating for all P234 transmitters is 90°C.

The Services of Max Machinery Precision Flow Meters

Max Machinery provides calibration and refurbishment services.  Bring your meter back to factory new condition with refurbishment and calibration to the same NIST traceable standard when they shipped to you new.

When should I calibrate my meters?

Annual calibration is a good start to any Quality Management program. Since you know your system best, you may choose to calibrate your meters more or less frequently.  Or if you have many meters, you can send in a master meter for calibration and confirm your in-process meters are accurate as the day they were installed by testing against it.

What if my meter stops working?

If you know that something happened to the meter, like debris damage or a lightning strike or shop air run through it, then you need to send the meter back for refurbishment.
