Description of Ludwig Schneider API Hydrometers

A device used to measure liquids’ density or specific gravity is called a hydrometer.Until the weight force of the displaced liquid equals the weight force of the submerged body, the instrument is submerged in a liquid.Among other settings, hydrometers are utilised in labs, wineries, and dairy facilities (must scales).
Use a container (stand cylinder, see accessories) that is the right size or capacity for an accurate density measurement and to guarantee an exact measurement result. Furthermore, the liquid’s temperature must match the instrument’s reference temperature, which is typically between +15 and +20 degrees Celsius.
The API gravity describes the unit for the density of crude oil. You will receive our precision hydrometers in degree API acc. to ASTM E100-19 and ASTM E2995-15a and also in versions with or without integrated thermometers.
