Absorbed Glass Mat (AGM) plate separators absorb high-purity acid to ensure leak-proof functioning in any location. In addition to performing very well in harsh environments and temperatures—up to twice their capacity at -4°F (-20°C)—CYCLON batteries may be recharged in less than an hour. Gases can escape through a 50 PSI safety valve, which automatically reseals to avoid excessive gas buildup or “dry out” failure from repeated recharges.
