Levelogger 5 Junior offers an affordable option for continuous water level and temperature measurement for significant projects with a limited budget. With the Levelogger Locking Well Cap and Direct Read Cables or wireline/Kevlar cords, it is easy to deploy and program using user-friendly software. It has a 5-year battery life, a Hastelloy pressure sensor, and 75,000 sets of reading memory. Accuracy with lifetime calibration is 0.1% FS. Both Levelogger 5 Junior and the more accurate Levelogger 5 are compatible with SDI-12.

About Solinst Levelogger 5 Junior Dataloggers

An affordable substitute for measuring the temperature and levels of surface and groundwater is the Levelogger 5 Junior. Within a small 22 mm x 160 mm (7/8″ x 6.3″) stainless steel chassis, the Levelogger 5 Junior integrates a pressure sensor, temperature detector, datalogger, and 5-year battery (based on a 1-minute sampling rate).

The Levelogger 5 Junior records absolute pressure using the same durable Hastelloy® pressure sensor as the Levelogger 5. The Hastelloy sensor has excellent performance in harsh environments and can withstand 2 times overpressure without permanent damage.

75,000 sets of temperature and water level data points can be stored in the memory of the Levelogger 5 Junior. Linear readings occur at user-specified intervals ranging from 0.5 seconds to 99 hours. With lifetime factory calibration, the accuracy is 0.1% FS.

Operation of Solinst Levelogger 5 Junior Dataloggers

The Levelogger 5 Junior is programmed in the same way as the Levelogger 5. The Levelogger is connected to a desktop or laptop computer by a PC Interface Cable, Desktop Reader 5, or Field Reader 5. The type of datalogger that is connected is automatically detected by Levelogger Software. Data management, downloading, exporting, and programming are all simple processes. Regardless of the planned programming intervals, the Real Time View option enables instant viewing of real-time temperature and water level information.

Temperature and temperature-compensated water level readings are produced by the Levelogger 5 Junior. You can barometrically compensate several Levelogger 5 Junior files at once using a single Barologger 5 file by using the Data Wizard in the Solinst Levelogger Software.

The Solinst Levelogger 5 App Interface, DataGrabber 5 data transfer device, SDI-12 Interface Cable, and Solinst Telemetry Systems are among the Levelogger 5 Junior’s compatible Levelogger 5 Series accessories.

The deployment of these little dataloggers is simple. Direct read cables, stainless steel wirelines, or Kevlar® cord suspension are available for installation, and Solinst 2″ Locking Well Caps are an additional option.
