Adalet Lighting Panel Main Lug Only design offers sufficient gutter space on sides to allow through wiring and easy lug connection. All enclosures are furnished with hinges, stainless steel quad lead cover bolts and are provided with NEMA 4 gasketing. All covers are removable for clear access to breakers and gutter space. The compact design of rectangular housings permits close grouping on switch racks and other structures. No additional space is required for cover removal except from the front.

Adalet Lighting Panel Main Lug Only

The Adalet Lighting Panel Main Lug Only (MLO) is a specialized electrical panel designed for distributing power to lighting systems in industrial settings. “Main Lug Only” means it doesn’t have a main breaker but instead connects to an external breaker that controls incoming power. Built to Adalet’s high standards for hazardous environments, it’s ideal for areas where explosion-proof or dust-tight equipment is essential, like chemical plants or refineries.

Standard Features

Factory Sealed, no external seals required.
Fully Wired from Panelboard Enclosure to Terminal Enclosure.
External Operating Handles can be padlocked either in the “ON” or “OFF” positions.
Spring-loaded Operator Handles allow cover to close with handles in any position.

Type 4 Gasketing provided for water and dust-tight seal.
Breather and Drain provided for each enclosure.
Removable Gland Plates for field installation of conduit entries.
Terminal Enclosure has folded lip around the door opening to provide complete and maximum gasket contact, and to prevent liquids from dripping into the enclosure when the door is open.
Terminal Enclosure has continuously welded seams ground to a smooth finish.
Ample wire bending space allows for easy terminal connection.

Enclosure

The housings are copper-free cast aluminum alloy. The housings are Adalet XCE series and have precision ground cover and body joints.

Mechanical

The front mounted power panel and lighting panel branch handles can be padlocked either in “off” or “on” position. All breaker handles are spring loaded allowing closing over the cover with breaker toggle in any position. Operating handle shafts have “V” ring gaskets for watertight application.

Electrical

Breaker panel chassis, featuring bolt-on circuit breakers, are made by Cutler Hammer. Chassis for the (XPB2) series power distribution provide 480/277 volt connections. The circuit breakers are rated for 480 volt max.
The Adalet lighting panelboard (XPB1) series offers 15 through 60 amps, 120, 240 volt bolt on circuit breakers with ground and insulated neutral bars as standard features. The Cutler Hammer INDUSTRIAL Ground Fault Circuit Protectors and switching neutral breakers are available as optional features
