About Enovation Controls

Our tradition of innovation was founded on the pioneering spirit of Frank W. “Pat” Murphy and his search for simple, reliable engine protection. In 1939, he transformed the world of engine instrumentation with the release of his innovative Safety Switch and the forming of FW Murphy Manufacturing.

In 2009, FW Murphy merged with EControls, forming Enovation Controls which operated four business units: Power Controls, Vehicle Technologies, Natural Gas Production Controls, and Fuel Systems. The Murphy brand along with the Power Controls and Vehicle Technologies business units were acquired by Sun Hydraulics in 2016 and today serve diverse applications across many markets.

Controllers

POWERCORE® MPC?20

Targeted for pump and irrigation applications, the MPC-20 is a powerful, fully-sealed IP67-rated all-purpose industrial controller built to withstand harsh environments. Tier 4 Final and Stage V ready with auto and manual start, the MPC-20 includes various throttling options and a real-time clock. Easily viewable in full-sun conditions, MPC-20 has a large 3.8-inch easy-to-read, monochrome transflective LCD.

It is engineered for incredibly easy initial setup and is configurable by the user to meet the most versatile applications, allowing for quick uptime and less headaches on the manufacturing floor or in the field. Although a configuration tool is not required, the easy-to-use PowerVision Configuration Studio® software allows configuration of set points on a PC to save for future loading. The MPC-20 is also available in an ML2000 panel solution.

POWERCORE® MPC?10

This powerful controller is a general controller for mechanical or electronic engine applications needing manual/auto start and manual/auto throttling. It supports J1939 CAN protocols for electronically governed engines as well as I/O for mechanical engines for fault and safety shutdowns.

MPC-10 boasts three levels of menu security, perfect for rental fleet protection, which can easily be set with the configuration tool. It is designed for all weather environments and is also available as the ML 1000-4X panel solution. The menu structure is incredibly user-friendly, with the ability to change many parameters and settings from the face without the need of a PC tool, if desired.

POWERCORE® TEC-10

A superior turnkey electronic controller, the PowerCore® TEC-10 panel provides full control of your engine including auto start/stop, auto throttling and display of engine parameters along with critical faults from the engine/application. The TEC-10 supports SAE J1939 CAN protocols for electronically governed engines as well as analog sensors on mechanical engines for fault and safety warnings/shutdowns.

EMC Series

The controller provides a low current varying PWM signal to the fan/s based on command inputs. Setup and system monitoring are easily accomplished through the graphical user interface (GUI). This controller is complete with many selectable input and output configurations along with On-Demand and Set-Point command modes.

The health of the fan system can easily be determined by the diagnostic LED’s, the diagnostic J1939 CAN Bus messages from the controller, and by monitoring the system using the software interface.

EMC-6 & EMC-6L

The EMC-6 is the simplest solution that provides immediate results by providing extensive input/output selection with easy to use complete customizable configuration software. This enables automotive/mobile design engineers and manufacturers the flexibility of reducing weight, combining electronic control systems and maximizing engine performance. A positive change for the environment while realizing significant financial savings.

Cascade

This auto-start controller is designed to fit any engine-driven application requiring a simple and robust automatic start and stop sequence. Pumps, compressors, grinders, power units and generators are just a few of the industrial applications for the controller.

The Cascade controller is fully compatible with all major engine types. Whether you are running mechanical or J1939 engines, the controller will work with your application. The Cascade CD101 controller can also be used to replace legacy ASM150, ASM160 and ASM170 controllers.

Keystarts

Outputs allow control of engine fuel (energized to run),  starter motor and preheat. The Keystart also has an alarm output for remote or audible warning of faults. Six LEDs and icons indicate engine status and faults. Four switch inputs (closing to negative on fault) enable automatic shutdown on engine low oil pressure, high coolant temperature and auxiliary faults.

Model 9621 has a fully adjustable engine overspeed shut-down feature, configurable for either generator AC or magnetic pickup speed signals. Charge alternator excitation and a charge fail warning LED are standard.

Murphy’s ML2000 control panel

The ML2000 panel series features polycarbonate, metal enclosure or flat panel options and standard harnessing for most major engine manufacturer ECUs. It is built to withstand harsh environments and features an out-of-the-box, fully sealed, powerful all-purpose industrial controller.

Murphy’s ML1000-4X Panel

The ML1000-4X features a polycarbonate enclosure and standard harnessing for most major engine manufacturer ECUs. It is IP67 rated to withstand harsh environments and features an out-of-the-box, fully sealed, powerful all-purpose industrial controller.

ML1000 is Tier 4 / Stage IV ready and features three configurable levels of passcode protection, perfect for rental applications. It is engineered for incredibly easy initial setup and is configurable by the user to meet the most versatile applications, allowing for quick uptime and less headaches on the manufacturing floor or in the field.

The MurphyLink Series MLC485 Panel

The rugged MLC485 control panel brings the power and functionality of the 4.3-inch color PowerView® 485 display into an out-of-the-box panel solution for any engine-driven application with a keyswitch and optional emergency stop. It offers a wide array of configurable I/O, including an RS485 serial connection, and support for both mechanical and J1939 electronic engines.

Designed to alleviate most user’s need for custom programming, the PV485 comes with standard software that enables complete configuration from the unit, including out of the box support for Stage V and Tier 4 Final emission controls on compatible engines. From the display, operators can also customize gauges and parameter choices, access diagnostic tools, import and export settings to USB and more.

The panel utilizes industry standard Deutsch connectors and is compatible for use on the simplest to the most advanced, fully electronic Tier 4 engines, when used with the correct Murphy Industrial Harness or John Deere OEM engine harnessing. This panel is available in a rugged powder-coated cold rolled steel enclosure that can be mounted on or near the engine.

The MurphyLink Series MLC380 Panel

The MLC380 panel has the ability for the software to be fully configured from the front user interface. If the default parameters set by Enovation Controls are not the desired set points, the packager or operator has the ability to change these settings. The configuration tool also allows for the splash screen to incorporate a company logo when powered on.

The flexibility of the MLC380 allows for the same panel to be used across many applications. This provides the operator familiarity with the display and panel in any application. The panel utilizes industry standard Deutsch connectors and is compatible for use on the simplest to the most advanced, fully electronic Tier 4 engines, when used with the correct Murphy Industrial Harness or John Deere OEM engine harnessing. This panel is available in a rugged powder-coated cold rolled steel enclosure that can be mounted on or near the engine.

The MurphyLink Series MGC1000 Panel

The MPC-10 is a general, all-purpose manual/auto start engine controller. The controller is purposed primarily for applications where a wide array of inputs and outputs are not required. The MPC-10 supports J1939 CAN protocols for electronically governed engines as well as analog sensors on mechanical engines for fault and safety shutdowns.

The Control Panel utilizes industry-standard Deutsch connector and is compatible for use on the simplest mechanical engine to the most advanced, fully electronic Tier 4 engines, when used with the correct Murphy Industrial Harness1 (MIH) or John Deere OEM engine harnessing. The MGC1000 panel can be mounted directly to the engine or engine/application cover.

MURPHYLINK® SERIES PANELS (ML25-ML150)

The ML Series panels take advantage of Murphy’s PowerView® technology to integrate and display valuable insight from electronic J1939 engines. Panels equipped with a PV101 display give operators more information than traditional gauges by allowing operators to view multiple engine parameters on a single screen.

ML series panels come with a variety of display and throttling capabilities, including gauge cutouts on some models that allow you to add critical gauges specific to your application. For applications with emissions requirements, some ML series panels can be equipped with Tier 4 controls. ML series panels are capable of handling sophisticated engine diagnostics as well as basic engine alarm/shutdown with integrated throttle control.

The WHB Series open type panels

These panels bolt directly to the engine flywheel housing. They include Swichgage protection for low engine oil pressure and high coolant or high oil temperature and have provision to add additional Swichgage instruments, such as a pump discharge pressure, voltage regulator, throttle cable and start button or switch.

CAN I/O Modules

Hydraulic Controls
