Aeco Position sensors are electronic transducers that are able to detect the presence of an object in their immediate vicinity, without any actual physical contact with the object itself; this function, together with the absence of any mechanical actuation mechanisms, means that such devices are highly reliable. They are used all over the world in industrial process controls, industrial robots, machine tools, measuring instruments, assembly lines, the civil engineering sector, etc.
Aeco Position Sensors
Inductive Sensors
These are electronic transducers that generate an output signal when a metallic object (iron, aluminum, copper, brass) enters their sensing area from any direction without coming into contact. Inductive proximity switches are available in cylindrical, and rectangular versions and have different electrical and mechanical features. They are also available according to Namur ATEX-IECEx. All types are available with a cable or plug for the connector.

Inductive Ring Sensors
Inductive ring sensors detect the presence of metal objects which pass through the area inside the ring, supplied in the diameters 5-12-15-22-25-30-44-63 and 100mm. They are suitable for detecting small metal parts which, as they pass through, generate output signals for external operation commands. They are also available according to Namur ATEX-IECEx. A delay time of 100ms of the output signal allows these sensors to intercept the fast passage of the metal objects. Available in the cable or connector output version.

Metalface Inductive Sensors
These sensors are made entirely of AISI 316L stainless steel including also the sensitive part. Cylindrical threaded models M12-18-30 with IP68 and IP69K grade protection. The operating distance is 3-5-10mm in the shielded version. Amplified models with NPN or PNP outputs. The supply voltage is 10-30Vdc. They are mainly used in harsh environments such as in the food and pharmaceutical industries where they can withstand frequent washing with high-pressure water or on machines for metalworking. They are resistant to impacts on the active surface.

Capacitive Sensors
These are electronic transducers that generate an output signal when any type of material (wood, metal, plastic, granular, and powder products) enters their sensing area without coming into direct contact. Capacitive proximity switches are available in the threaded cylindrical version with fixing brackets suitable for all different mechanical and electrical features. Types with instantaneous intervention or timing up to 15 min. are also supplied. Available in the cable or connector output version.

Photoelectric Sensors
Photoelectric sensors are light emission principle electronic transducers. They provide an output signal when an object comes into their sensing area. They are available in the cylindrical M18, square, fork, and M18 fiber optic versions. They come in direct and polarized reflection, with reflectors for infrared light or polarized red light, and barriers with emitter and receiver versions. All versions are provided with cable or M12 connection.

Fiber Optic Sensors
These sensors work electronically like any other photoelectric sensor, with the difference that the light emitted and received is transported by a fiber optic, which has a very small and variably shaped end and can be installed at a distance from the electronic measurement circuit or amplifier, made in stainless steel cylindrical housing AISI 303 M18x1 with fixing brackets. Different models are available according to the type of application. They can be 2 mt. standard and are covered by polyethylene and have either a smooth metallic end of 3mm. dia. or threaded M3-M4-M6.

Reflectors
These accessories reflect the light in the same direction from which it comes, no matter what the angle of incidence can be. AECO reflectors are made of plastic (PMMA), impact-resistant material, with temperature limits ranging from -10°C up to +60°C. They are very performing when used with photoelectric sensors. They are supplied in parallelepiped and cylindrical shapes, in different dimensions as well as in the adhesive reflective tape version too which, however, is half-performing compared to the rigid plastic models.

Magnetic Reed Sensors and Magnets
These are made of a reed switch with contacts protected by a glass bulb that contains inert glasses, this way mechanical and electrical deterioration are kept at a minimum level. This is all contained in a plastic or metallic housing filled in with epoxide resin which guarantees protection against humidity, vibrations, and shocks. Available in cylindrical and rectangular housing with open and changeover contacts. Magnets of various shapes and sizes are also available to activate these sensors.

Hall Effect Sensors and Magnets
These are electronic magnetic sensors that operate on the basis of the Hall effect. This means that they generate an output signal when their sensitive area is affected by a magnetic field produced by a permanent magnet. Just like inductive sensors, the output signal is very precise, repeatable, and fast, but they offer the added benefit of increased sensitivity and reduced size Insensitive to shocks and vibrations, these sensors are supplied with an M12x1 cylindrical case or parallelepiped case, pluggable or hard-wired connection option and indicator led NPN/PNP output logic with N.O. or N.C. contact in the monostable version, and NPN+PNP output logic with N.O. contact in the bistable version.

Magnetic Sensors for Cylinders
This range of sensors is mainly used to detect the position of a magnetic piston element found in linear and rotary pneumatic cylinders. An Led is used to confirm that the sensor has changed status through the detection of the cylinder piston magnet. The output information from the sensor is then used to signal further electrical functions as required. Our sensors are available in Reed and Magneto Resistive types and all are supplied with a molded cable. All models are available with cable or cable with an M8 connector.

Connectors
AECO connector range is available in the M8, M12, and K versions. The M8 version comes with 3 models with 3-4 wire molded in PUR cable. The M12 version comes with 4 models: two are 3-4 wire molded in PVC cable and two are 4-pin terminal blocks. They can be supplied in the straight or 90° angle version, the latter is also available with Led. All M8 and M12 models are IP67 ratings. Our range also includes the K connectors that come with a terminal block, they are included in the sensor and they are an IP65 rating.

Proxy Tester
Proxy Tester is a portable instrument created to satisfy the needs of both installers as well as retailers. It makes it possible to control the correct functioning of any D.C. sensor or magnetic sensor even when lacking expensive sophisticated instrumentation (stable power generators, oscilloscopes). Consequently, this reduces maintenance and repair time in an industrial automation plant where the malfunction of sensors is often difficult to identify. Proxy Tester is powered by a battery and has a battery level indicator.

Amplifiers for Sensors
These devices, supplied in a plastic case with a terminal block, are used for food, with a voltage stabilized and leveled at 12Vdc, inductive, capacitive, photoelectric cell transforming the output signal of the same in a changeover contact 5A at 240V of a relay in this device. Are provided in the model ALNC (for NPN/PNP/NAMUR sensors), in the model ALN2 (for two NAMUR sensors), and in the model ALTP programmable delay on energization or de-energization (for NPN/PNP/NAMUR sensors).
