RHECom Software

The RHE26 transmitter is a feature-rich device with numerous complex capabilities, all of which require programming to operate properly. There are three versions of the RHECom software: Free, Pro, and Pro+. RHEComFree can be downloaded for free or stored on a USB flash drive. Complete transmitter parameter configuration is possible with RHEComFree, which also has a helpful datalogging feature for tracking meter performance.

RHEComPro and RHEComPro+ provide more insight and setup convenience menus for a nominal one-time license charge. Data logging, trending, and extensive diagnostic features are all included in RHEComPro. RHEComPro+ is a cutting-edge, fully functional simulator application that goes beyond flow meter management. By modifying transmitter settings, establishing alerts and filters, and generating transmitter configuration files to be uploaded into the real unit, you may use the simulator to test your application from the comfort of your office. The simulator is also perfect for training because it has controls to change the flow, density, and temperature measurements exactly like the unit was in line, and it replicates the front panel of the instrument display and buttons when they are clicked!

Electrical connection to transmitter compatibility

The following table shows which electrical connection options are compatible with the transmitter range. Keep in mind that some transmitters come with affordable blind front versions that do not require keypads or displays. Both system designers and end users have a plethora of alternatives thanks to the extensive selection of Rheonik sensors and transmitters.

Standard Operation Package (Part Number Code SO)

The RHE26 Standard Operation Package provides the following measurement and function features:

Direct Mass Flow Measurement
The fluid passing through an Omega Tube Coriolis Meter is measured with high accuracy using the Coriolis principle to compute mass flow.

Temperature Measurement
Using integrated sensors, each Omega Tube Coriolis Sensor measures the temperature.

Fixed and Calculated Density Function
The Fixed Density function can be used to enter a fixed density value for volumetric flow calculations. The Calculated Density function allows density to be generated based on process temperature. A base or reference density at a known temperature is entered for the fluid being measured, together with a coefficient that indicates how much the density changes with temperature. The software of the transmitter uses this information to calculate the flowing density for volumetric flow calculations.

Volume measurement is calculated by dividing direct mass flow measurement by the Fixed Density.

Standardized/Normalized Volume Measurement for Gas

The volume of gas flowing through the meter under typical circumstances is determined by this function. Together with the flowing mass, the volume is computed by entering the gas’s density under standard conditions into the transmitter.
