Arkon Flow Systems Calibration

Traceability of calibration All arkon flowmeters are calibrated at one of the Czech Republic accredited calibration laboratory facilites. All those laboratories are traceable to the main Czech Metrology Institute (CMI) CMI is the Czech national metrology body and is traceable to international standards such as TUV Germany and Delft Netherlands.

Electromagnetic Flow Meter

  • MAGB2 Newly developed MAGB2 battery-powered electromagnetic flowmeter is an ideal flow measurement device for water and wastewater systems located at remote sites.
  • MAGE1 is economic flowmeter with carbon steel sensor and plastic transmitter that satisfy standard customer requirements. It is mains powered flowmeter (9-35 VDC) with 4-20 mA output, RS485 communication and internal data-logger.
  • MAGX2 is mains powered flowmeter with unique modular design. It is a flexible device suitable for most applications including high technical solution where 3G/GPRS communciation is required.
  • MAGB1 is battery-powered electromagnetic flowmeter that is suitable for applications where the possibility of a power supply is not available.
  • MAGS1 is a new stand-alone version of flowmeter available fom January of 2011.
  • AGRIMAG is a user friendly low cost flowmeter. It is one piece build in polypropylene powered by (6) AA batteries. It is available in 1”, 2” and 3” sizes. It has an accuracy of 1% and a battey life of 1-3 years.
  • AGRIMAGP is a user friendly low cost flowmeter with power supply and one fequency output. It is one piece build in polypropylene. It is available in 1”, 2” and 3” sizes. It has an accuracy of 1%.
  • AGRIMAGP2 is a user friendly low cost flowmeter with power supply, 4-20mA current loop output and RS485 Modbus RTU output. It is one piece build in polypropylene. It is available in 1”, 2” and 3” sizes. It has an accuracy of 1%.
  • MAGX2 offers a wide range of modules to allow each customer to design their own solution for his application. The modules are plug and play, can be easily installed or removed from the mother board (always check first that the unit is powered off) and have in most of the cases the size of a big post stamp.
  • VeriMAG1 is a stand-alone smart field testing instrument, which can detect any irregularity of its measurement status and confirm its accuracy within spectrum of +-1% without interrupting the flowmeter installation.

Ultrasonic Flow Meter

  • USCX100 is a compact clamp-on ultrasonic flow transmitter with a robust and practical design for permanent installation and flow measurement on single pipes. The instument offers a cost-effective option owing to its simplified specification and availability of a range of transducer types.
  • USCX150 is premiere product for flexibility and performance, providing the user with a comprehensive specification and a list of configuration options. The practical modular design and the wide variety of different transducer types available ensure this instrument is suitable from simple water flow measurement to energy flow monitoring.
  • USCX200 is a fully portable instrument with a power which is belied by its small size. This lightweight flowmeter is incredibly easy to use and can be operated one-handed which makes it an ideal tool for use in confined spaces or when working at height.

Open Channel Flow Meter

  • Arkon Parshall Flumes are primary flow devices with a wide range of applications, for measuring open channel flow. They can be used for flow measurement in creeks, irrigation and/or drainage channels, sewer outfalls, waste water treatment plants, etc. Arkon parshall flumes are made of polypropylene and are resistant to air temperatures up to 80°C (however, water inside the flume must not get frozen).
  • MQU is the Arkon ultrasonic flowmeter for open chanels. It should be use in combination of a flume. It consist in Arkon’s MQU tranmitter and a probe. The probe has a measurement range of 0.5, 2 or 4 meters. The transmitter includes a LCD display, 4 buttons, internal data-logger, communication RS232 or RS485 (only one can be selected), temperature compensation and analoge and binary output. MQU deliveries also includes a mounting bracket. There is also available a version for measurement with 2 sensors instead of 1.
  • MHU The Arkon ultrasonic level-meter. The meter has a measuring range up to 6m. It includes LCD display, communication RS232 or RS485, current output 4-20mA, pulse and 4 relays. MODBUS RTU communication as an option.

Flow Indicator

  • Ball Flow Indicator is a single sided indicator. The white PTFE ball rises when there is flow of liquids or gasses and is clearly visible from a distance. Suitable for applications where a constant flow is required, such as cooling lines or for showing the presence of condensate in steam return lines.
  • The bright yellow spinner can be seen in the glass dome when there is flow. The Spinner flow indicator is a single sided indicator. The spinner starts to rotate when flow starts. The design offers low pressure losses and is suitable for installation in both horizontal and vertical pipework.
  • Paddle Wheel Flow indicators with a highly visible PTFE paddlewheel to indicate the flow of liquids in the line. Suitable for clear and cloudy liquids. It can be used in vertical or horizontal lines and is ideal for flow monitoring in full pipes.
  • Flap Indicates flow on an easy to read scale. It is for use with liquids or steam. It is particularly suited for applications with low flow as the flow must move the flap to pass through the meter. It is ideal as a plant safety device where you need to maintain a constant flow, for example in lubricating or cooling systems.
  • Plain Indicator Flow indicators with a highly visible PTFE paddlewheel to indicate the flow of liquids in the line. Suitable for clear and cloudy liquids. It can be used in vertical or horizontal lines and is ideal for flow monitoring in full pipes.
  • Tube Flow Indicator allows a 360 deg visual indication of the flow and contents in the pipes. It has a plain straight through borosilicate glass tube with stainless steel flanged ends and is used to check for the presence of a liquid where there is intermittent flow, partially filled lines or entrained air.
  • Window Indicator Circular sight glass, for bolting or welding to tanks, vessels or pipes to allow viewing of the contents. This model is designed to provide a window for viewing the contents of a vessel or tank. Normally these are welded to the tank, but can be supplied suitable for bolting to a vessel or a pipe flange if required.
