SIGNAL CONVERTER Model ASAMAG
This new model, at high-performance solutions, both as hardware and software, can be defined as an HI-TEC line, addressed to very demanding customers from the point of view of performance and precision. The output signal is both analogical and digital; and qualitatively the instrument is very performing, having accuracy < +-0,5% of reading and repeatability of 0,1% r.v.

ASAMAG is also good to be used with any liquids with conductivity better than 5 ?S/cm; they are insensitive to temperature and pressure variations, density or viscosity of process fluid.
ASAMAG advantages are:
- Maximum control (also in remote). ASA can provide also serial interface software usable by the PC and the port RS232 (or RS485) of the converter, making possible the visualization and the modification of process parameters.
- All ASAMAGs are equipped with a Sensoreprom unit that contains all calibration data of the sensor tube and all the settings of the converter for the lifetime of the product. Fabrication parameters and instrument size are recorded inside the Sensoreprom together with the working parameters set by the customer. In the event of tube substitution, Sensoreprom makes it very easy and rapid.
- Great flexibility is intended as the chance to have a compact or remote version with the same measuring tube and converter.
- For a complete electromagnetic flowmeter, you have to combine the ASAMAG converter with the sensor tube of a Flanged, Wafer, or DIN-Clamp-Gas model.
Flanged sensor
The flanged sensor has a rugged and reliable build. All of its internal components and wiring are isolated from environmental hazards, even the toughest because the measuring tube in stainless steel 304 and the outer tube in carbon steel are welded to provide a hermetic seal. Therefore it’s free from long-term maintenance.
Easy and fast to install and start-up. The wide range of diameters and electrode materials and finishes of the measuring tube is ideal to meet the most different requirements, especially in the process industry to measure conductive fluids.

Even in “extreme” applications: high temperatures (up to 160 ° C) and aggressive solutions and corrosive or abrasive particles. The flow measurement is absolutely insensitive to density, temperature, pressure, and fluid viscosity. Special flanged connections and body executions entirely of stainless steel are available on request. The sensor tube is compatible with Asamag and P Series converters.
Wafer sensor
The wafer sensor has a rugged and reliable build. All of its internal components and wiring are isolated from environmental hazards, even the toughest because the measuring tube and the outer tube both in stainless steel are welded together to provide a hermetic seal. Therefore it’s maintenance-free and provides long-term reliability. Easy and fast to install and start-up.

Designed to meet different needs, especially in the process industry for measuring conductive mediums with a small footprint, high reliability, and outstanding value for money. Even in applications “extreme”: high temperatures (up to 160 ° C) and aggressive solutions or abrasive particles, thanks to the available coatings and wide choice of materials for the electrodes, the meter provides excellent performance.
The flow measurement is absolutely insensitive to density, temperature, pressure, and fluid viscosity. The sensor tube is compatible with Asamag and P Series converters.
DIN, Clamp, Gas Sensors
Sensor model DIN, Clamp, Gas or SMS has a sturdy and reliable build. All of its internal components and wiring are isolated from environmental hazards, even the toughest because the measuring tube and the outer tube both in stainless steel are welded together to provide a hermetic seal.
Therefore it’s maintenance-free and provides long-term reliability. It’s available entirely made of stainless steel, also for the housing of the converter. Easy and fast to install and start-up.

Designed to meet different needs, especially in the food and pharmaceutical industries for measuring conductive mediums with a small footprint, high reliability, and outstanding value for money. It ensures use in a sterile environment and maximum cleanliness of the parts in contact with the fluid after sterilization and cleaning with pressurized steam.
Even in applications “extreme”: high temperatures (up to 160 ° C) and aggressive solutions or abrasive particles, thanks to the available coatings and wide choice of materials for the electrodes, the meter provides excellent performance.
The flow measurement is absolutely insensitive to the density, temperature, pressure, and fluid viscosity. The sensor tube is compatible with Asamag and P Series converters.
Asameters model C-G…38/39
Asameters model C-G…38/39 all made of stainless steel are designed for medium and high flow rates for every kind of gas (mod. C) and liquid (mod. G) also aggressive, at extreme operating and environmental conditions (high pressures and/or low or high temperatures).
These Asameters are ideal for flow measurement where safety and product reliability are a must and do not require a power supply (in the standard version with flow indicator only) ensuring a cost-free measure even in hazardous areas.

A further advantage is the dimension of only 250 mm, making them suitable for installation in tight spaces. No straight sections are required upstream or downstream. They can be supplied with a flow indicator only or together with a microprocessor board for instantaneous, totalized and percentage flow rate with 4-20 mA output signal, Hart protocol (power supply: 24Vdc ± 10%), and Profibus PA interface (on request).
All in 2-wire technology. Asameters model C-G…38 _ 39 are also available in intrinsically safe version, ATEX certified EEx ia IIC T6 Zone 0 and Zone 1 (on request) and can be supplied with flameproof Exd design (see Model C-G 47… 50). The installation can be vertical with upward flow (standard execution) or on a horizontal pipeline (horizontal meter orientation on request).
Asameters model L…38 _ 39
Asameters model L…38 _ 39 all made of stainless steel are designed for low flow rates with any type of gas or liquid also aggressive, at the extreme process and environmental conditions (high pressures and/or low or high temperatures). These Asameters are ideal for flow measurement where safety and product reliability are a must and do not require a power supply (in the standard version with flow indicator only) ensuring a cost-free measure even in hazardous areas.

Orifice Asameters U6

Orifice Asameters U6, also said kinetic, have the measuring tube connected to the main flange, therefore the reading is made directly on the pipeline. They are suitable for the measurement of large flows of fluids. In addition, the connection between the calibrated orifice and U6 Asameter is adjustable and therefore allows the installation at any angle (not 45 degrees) with flow up or down.
Among their highlights first, we recall the linearity of the scale, which allows us to perform excellent measurements at low flow rates, with just as good accuracy, and secondly the economic advantage over the diameter of 2 “, compared to other flow devices.
Orifice Asameters S6
Orifice Asameters S6, also called kinetics, have measuring tubes in shockproof plastic and are suitable for the measurement of high flow rates of aggressive fluids (acids and alkali) directly on the pipeline thanks to the metering tube connected with the main orifice plate.
In addition, the connection between the calibrated orifice and S6 Asameter is adjustable and therefore allows the installation at any angle (not 45 degrees) with flow up or down.

Among their advantages remember first the linearity of the scale that allows to perform excellent measurements at low flow rates, with equally good accuracy, and secondly the economic advantage over the diameter of 2 “, compared to traditional flow devices.
The integrated bypass valve allows making the maintenance and replacement of the measuring tube, if necessary, with the minimum waste of time and costs.
Asameters model V6
Asameters® model V6, proprietary, are flap-type flow meters with flow rate reading by pointer, output signal 4-20 mA, and HART-Protocol (power supply: 24Vdc ± 10%). Suitable for water and gas flows are designed for applications with horizontal or vertical mounting positions.

They are independent of the viscosity of the fluid and insensitive to any solids in suspension. Do not require straight sections upstream or downstream and there are no pressure losses during the measurement. They ensure 25 mc/h in water with DN25 flow diameter. Small sizing, low weight, and magnetic coupling reading make these Asameters® practical and easy to use where they are needed low cost of installation and maintenance.
Panels For Flow Measurement, Control, And Regulation
In the new ASA product catalog, you find also integrated systems, commonly called panels, for the measurement, control, and adjustment of flows, designed in agreement with customer specifications for purge gas application, flow regulation, and flushing modules, for the control of pressure and flow.

ASA panels are manufactured with high-quality materials and have relatively compact-sized dimensions, according to customer specifications. They are pre-manufactured directly in our production site, and need only final installation on the client machine, with great saving time and cost for the customer.
They are equipped with a flowmeter, with or without a DP flow regulator, filter reducer, and pressure gauge. The high-quality parts used for panels are selected from European-qualified suppliers and guarantee top reliability and endurance over time.
