Deltafluid is created In 2001, the company; it fully takes over the activities of DAR, develops a complete range of instrumentation products oriented towards the measurement and regulation of fluids, and opens up new markets such as Chemicals & Petrochemicals, Energy, Steel & Iron, Food, Water, Aeronautics.
In 2013, Deltafluid moved into a new building of 1300 sqm in Lacq and combines the activities of the design office and production in one place. The site of over 6000 sqm offers us the opportunity to manufacture and store large parts and is easily accessible for carriers. At the same time,
Delta fluid is developing for export with the support of Total Développement Régional which proposes to host a VIE on its premises in Qatar. This is the beginning of Deltafluid’s export adventure in the Middle East. Local partnerships have been signed in Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, and more recently in Iran.
In 2016, Deltafluid created the Engineering & Structure department to complete the offer by offering studies (including flexibility studies) and technical advice for the construction and installation of piping, pipes, and penstocks.
In 2017, Deltafluid develops in Russia and neighboring countries, creates an entity in Moscow, and establishes a partnership locally to develop this market with specific requirements.
In 2018, Deltafluid, who has always worked in the Energy sector and more specifically Nuclear, officially decides to obtain the referencing of its products in Flow Measurement at the major players of Nuclear in France. This highly regulated field of activity requires the fulfillment of very strict specifications and high standards that we strive to achieve.

ORIFICE PLATE

Orifice plates or diaphragms are the most commonly used primary elements for differential pressure flow measurement. They allow measurement over a wide range of flow rates and for a wide range of pipe diameters.
There are several types: the sharp-edge orifice plate, the best known, the other concentric plates with conical inlet and quarter circle plate for the measurement of low flows or viscous fluids, and the eccentric plate or segmental plate for measuring dirty or impure fluids. Finally, the multi-hole / conditioning orifice plate allows a measure of quality while providing a minimum footprint.
NOZZLE

The nozzle has a radiated input and is therefore suitable for fluids flowing at high speed. Unlike an orifice plate whose edge could be damaged, the ISA 1932 nozzle and the long radius nozzle according to the names of the standard are quite suitable for these applications.
For corrosive or aggressive fluids, the surface in contact with the fluid can be covered with a special coating to improve its lifetime.
VENTURI

The venturi tube has a convergent inlet, a throat, and a divergent outlet. It is a differential pressure flow meter well known to create a low permanent pressure drop; thus, it is suitable for measuring, for example, a low-pressure flow rate. Moreover, it requires short upstream and downstream straight lengths.
There are different types of venturi tubes: the machined venturi is made from a solid round for small size parts, the rolled welded venturi is made from sheet metal for larger pieces up to 1200 mm diameter, and the venturi “as cast” allowing a better accuracy up to 800 mm diameter.
1”/1” Flowmeter

The 1”/1” flowmeter is also called a flowmeter with flange pressure taps. The high-pressure upstream measurement is 1 inch from the upstream edge of the plate and, symmetrically, the low-pressure measurement is 1 inch from the downstream edge of the plate. This is often a pre-assembled complete set with an orifice plate mounted between orifice flanges. Orifice flanges are standardized and manufactured to ASME B16.36.
The orifice plate is manufactured in accordance with ISO 5167 or ASME MFC-3M. The 1”/1” flowmeter may include either a sharp edge, a conical, a quarter circle, an eccentric, a segmental, or a conditioning orifice plate depending on your application and process specification Our experts advise you on the most suitable orifice plate.
Resistance sensor

The resistance probe offers a measurement of great accuracy and very good long-term stability.A Pt 100 Ohm probe corresponds to a platinum resistance whose initial value is 100 Ohms for a temperature of 0°C. The measuring element consists of wound platinum wires whose resistance varies according to the temperature. The resistance/temperature correspondence is documented in the IEC 60751 standard. The temperature probe is often delivered with a connection head (see photo opposite).
Thermocouple sensor

The thermocouple probe is characterized by a fast response time and is perfectly suited for high or very high-temperature operation. The temperature sensor is often delivered with a connection head (see photo opposite).
Thermowell

Tubular or welded thermowells are made from tubes and are suitable for applications without significant stress. Drill bar stock thermowell are machined from a bar stock; they are more resistant and are suitable for severe process conditions in terms of high temperature and pressure or high flow rate.
Pyrometric assembly

The pyrometric assemblies are perfectly suited for high temperature applications: they are complete measuring assemblies with a mineral insulated thermocouple or a ceramic insulated protection and equipped with an outer protective mechanical tube. They are fitted with electrical connection devices and mechanical fasteners.
Multi-point sensor

The multi-point measuring sensor consists of several sensors of different lengths mounted on the same measurement column; it has the advantage of a smaller footprint than the solution with several independent sensors. It is designed to give precise and fast temperature measurements at pre-determined levels in containers (tank, separator, column, reactor) or furnaces. It measures a temperature profile and detects hot spots.
