The Products of Kimo Instruments

Kimo Instruments offers a wide range of industrial testing and measuring instruments, Kimo Instruments wide range of product lines has helped us to create our own identity in the market. We are offering complete solutions for various demanding tasks, especially in the field of testing where accurate and reliable data matters a lot. Being the leader in environmental and industrial instruments, Kimo Instruments has been supporting the needs of various organizations and industries. Our testing and measuring instruments have simplified the testing process for various industries, such as steel or power or cement plants, mines, the pharmaceutical industry, ports, and so on.

Flow Meter

These instruments are mechanical in nature and work by measuring the speed of flowing water running through a pipe that rotates a turban or a piston. A flow sensor measures both the linear, nonlinear, mass, and volumetric flow rates of both liquids and gases. Industries such as chemical, natural gas and oil, chemical waste, pharmaceutical, paper and pulp, metals, mining, food, and beverages to name a few.

Dew Point

An instrument that determines the condensation temperature given at a barometric pressure. Generally dew point meters are generously used in cooling, venting, heating, drying, and HVAC technologies. It operates on its fundamental principle of air condensation point.

When a gas sample passes over a chilled metallic mirror fitted on its surface. That is when Light is directed at the mirror surface for an optical sensor to measure the amount of reflected light.

Pressure Sensors

Kimo Instruments
Kimo Instruments – Pressure Sensor

An instrument that measures the pressure of gases and liquids of industrial equipment. A device that works by converting the pressure into an analog electrical signal. A Pressure sensor usually associates itself as a transducer as it generates a signal that is a result of the imposed pressure. This finds its usage in diagnosis and in medical, space exploration, and environmental monitoring.

Chart Recorder

Kimo Instruments – Charts Recorder

An electromechanical device that records any electrical or mechanical input trend onto a piece of paper. A Chart recorder is an electromechanical device that records and shows the input on paper in the form of graphs. They may record their inputs on several pieces of the strip and circular paper. One of the most traditional yet effective ways of assimilating information.

Pressure Transmitter

When it comes to checking pressure ranges, the devices can be of great help. Some devices are capable of monitoring the volume flows. They can measure and control real-time pressure in a short time with very little effort through many stat. The pressure transmitters are equipped to measure different types of pressure, such as absolute pressure, relative pressure, and even differential pressure.

Differential Pressure (DP) can be defined as the difference between two pressures. The differential pressure transmitters make use of reference points referred to as low-side pressure and then compare it with high-side pressure.

When searching for a pressure transmitter, it’s important to look for a transmitter that is connected to a pressure transducer. A pressure transducer aims to consider the difference between the two pressure levels. With the inputs obtained, the relative pressure can be measured.

Features

It’s important to know the common features of a pressure transmitter. They are:

  • Pressure Checking
  • Precise measurement
  • In some cases, it can measure flow velocities

Kimo Instruments offers pressure transmitters, differential pressure transmitters, atmospheric pressure sensors, etc for a wide variety of application fields and processes like heating and ventilation or HVAC system and more.

The atmospheric pressure sensor is very suitable for determining atmospheric air pressure. This device is often used by weather stations. The measurement range is usually kept between 800 to 1100 hPa. To get accurate results, the pressure sensors are connected to pressure ports.

One thing that must be kept in mind for differential pressure transmitters is that they are suitable for measuring the low-range pressure of air and neutral gases. The lowest range could be 10 bars. However, the models offered by Kimo Instruments can measure pressure ranging from -500/+500 mbar to -2000/+2000 bar.

Some differential pressure and temperature sensor models are suitable for industrial and pharmaceutical applications; whereas, some are suitable for oil and gas industries. For instance, differential pressure transmitters can also help with oxygen pressure measurement, like medical oxygen production equipment and oxygen storage tanks.
