Ruelco uses the JobPack scheduling system to monitor job status and schedule planning. This ensures that all machined parts are available when needed by our customers. This product also allows our machinists to make complex parts which before now were difficult to program.
Ruelco is able to take the terms lean manufacturing and lights out manufacturing to a new level by using the advanced CNC features in combination with our trained machinists. All of our automatic CNC machines are run at night to increase our production day by at least 4 hours per machine. This gives us a great advantage in the market by providing parts and services more quickly and with an overall reduction in cost.
Ruelco employs a “machining cell” design to increase productivity. The cells are designed with function and space in mind, in order to eliminate multiple movements of parts from machine to machine. Machines which are put into the same cell are done so to give each cell a full range of tooling capabilities. This allows each cell to act independently of each other, but to deliver the flexibility and diversity which is required during the machining process.
Ruelco can provide precision cutting of bar stock with the use of our CNC saws. These CNC saws can cut in bundles or individual bars to any specified length.

Ruelco Instrumentation Controls Products
he Ruelco pressure switch is the most versatile, robust and easy to adjust pressure switch available. With a maximum overpressure up to 10,000 PSI at any set point or range, the standard Ruelco Pressure switch can be put into almost any pressure environment with 100% function reliability. The easy to change ranges add to the versatility of the product. Unlike our competitors, you will simply change one o-ring if a change of range is needed. This flexibility allows the Ruelco pressure switch to be used in a variety of applications. The combination of our experienced Engineering team and the simple o-ring design also allows the Ruelco switch to be outfitted to meet the customer’s specific fluid or temperature needs. Available in 3 different error ranges and instrument pressures up to 6,000 PSI, the Ruelco pressure switch family can meet any application.
The Ruelco Pressure Switch is used to detect and react to a high or low level signal from a flow source. When the predetermined level has been reached by the sense pressure, the switch will block the inlet instrument signal and bleed the outlet signal. This will cause an instrument pressure drop in the entire system. When a high/ low assembly is used in conjunction with a Ruelco relay, the system can shutdown an actuator or other pneumatically controlled device quickly and safely.
The pilots also have an optional scale which allows the operator to set the switch without the need for trial and error testing. With our all Stainless steel construction, the Ruelco pneumatic or electric pressure switch can meet all of your pressure sensing functions.
The Ruelco Helix Dial Pilot is a bourdon tube type pressure switch. The Helix is designed to have good overpressure protection as well as a small dead band. The pressure is adjusted by means of the external dial. Supplied as a high or low, the coiled bourdon tube is used as the pressure sensing element. This eliminates any soft goods from coming into direct contact with the process fluid. The coil will activate a snap acting block and bleed valve when a high or low set point is reached. All pressure switches are factory calibrated used 30 PSI pneumatic signal and come in a variety of ranges from 0 – 15,000 PSI.
The Ruelco Level Switch is a 2-way valve which will supply a control signal when a predetermined liquid level is reached inside of a tank or pressure vessel. The Ruelco Level Switch is a pneumatic or electric liquid level switch, which can act as a normally open or normally closed 2-way valve. The patented Ruelco Level Switch will provide a fast system response when the liquid in the tank or pressure vessel reaches the predetermined level. The switch can be converted from high to low setting with no additional parts. Simply rotate the valve body 180 degrees to change from high to low. The Ruelco Level Switch comes in standard 3″ mounting rod, 6″ mounting rod or with a 10’ hangdown float. A Level Cage can also be used in conjunction with the Switch for externally mounting on tanks.
Ruelco Model 3C0 cages are used for installing Ruelco “Flex-Level” switches externally on tanks or pressure vessels. The compact size of these units permit efficient bridle mounting of multiple switches using a minimum number of vessel connections. Standard cages use solid bar non-welded construction allowing them to withstand the most severe operating environments. Ruelco model 3C0 cages are offered in both 2″ NPT and flange mount versions for the model 30C2 and 31C2 “Flex-Level” switches.
Model 3C0 cages are available in both carbon steel and stainless steel models.

The Ruelco pneumatic relay is a device used to supply a signal from the outlet when a pilot supply signal is given to the valve. When the pilot supply is removed, the valve will block the inlet and vent the outlet.
Ruelco makes a wide array of stainless steel pneumatically operated relay switches. An Automatic Reset relay is used for continuous operation, while a Manual Reset relay can be used to ensure safety by making it necessary for an operator to put the relay back into service. All Ruelco relays have a high Cv factor which delivers a fast response to a drop in system pressure and are a simple soft seat design, making repair and maintenance easy.
The Ruelco pneumatic tattletale is a unique device to provide indication when production control or safety system sensors and control devices trip. The tattletale is designed to be installed in the exhaust port of pneumatic control devices and sensors. When these sensors or control devices trip, the pneumatic pressure venting through the exhaust port willl cause the cap of the tattletale to pop out. This exposes a red indicator band giving visual indication that the device has tripped. First-Out indication of several sensors can be obtained by using the tattletale in conjunction with a pneumatic relay. Often this eliminates the need for an expensive control panel.
Likewise, the Ruelco hydraulic tattletale is designed to be installed in the return line near the exhaust port of a hydraulic sensor or control component. When the sensor or control device operates and vents or exhausts hydraulic fluid, the pressure in the return line will cause the cap of the tattletale to pop out. This exposes a red indicator band giving visual indication the the sensor or control device has operated. The Ruelco hydraulic tattletale is ideal for indication when a hydraulic pressure sensor has operated and gives first – out indication when the sensor is used to vent a hydraulically actuated valve.
The Ruelco quick exhaust is designed to rapidly bleed the control pressure from an actuator or other pneumatic or hydraulic device. It is typically used on safety valves, control valves, or other devices that must respond quickly when the control signals are removed. Its in-line design and three part construction make the quick exhaust easy to install and maintain. No special tools are needed for repair and assembly. The Ruelco quick exhausts will improve equipment operation and reduce maintenance time.
The Ruelco sand probe is a normally open or normally closed relay which when used with a thin wall probe will detect and indicate excessive corrosion inside of a pipeline. The Relay will indicate field personal that inspection or repair of the flowline is necessary.
Ruelco manufactures a number of hydraulic controllers which can be used for a variety of functions. The 2-way controllers can exhaust a signal on the loss of a pilot supply while the 3-way controllers can block and bleed upon losing a pilot supply. The robust construction and soft seal design make the Ruelco hydraulic controllers perfect for a large range of applications. With specifically selected o-rings and seals to ensure fluid compatibility, a Ruelco valve can be used in almost every situation.
The Ruelco ESD manual valves and stations have a simple and compact design. Their high flow rate and pull to open action make them ideal for use in manual ESD systems and other control applications that require fast response time. The supply pressure acting on the unbalanced stem maintains the valve in the closed position. This prevents vibration or small pulling forces from accidentally opening the valve. Once pulled, the valve will stay in the open position until manually closed.
Ruelco Fusible Devices are heat sensitive devices designed to vent control pressure at a predetermined temperature. Ruelco Fusible Devices are manufactured using a process that assures a leak free operation. The sensing temperature of the fusible material is clearly marked on each fuse plug to ensure proper identification.
The Ruelco Fusible Devices are available in 316 stainless steel with various sensing temperatures (158, 168, 183, 210, & 283 ○F) and sizes (½”, 3/8”, and ¼” MNPT).
The Ruelco vent screen is manufactured with an all stainless steel construction and is used to prevent insects from blocking the vent port. The Ruelco vent screen is available in five standard NPT sizes: 1/8”, 1/4”, 3/8”, 1/2″, and 3/4”.
The Ruelco VF-1 is a vent cap designed to relieve pressure due to entrapped gases in a hydraulic reservoir through a spring loaded cover. Under normal conditions, the cover prevents rain, dust, or other contaminants from entering into the hydraulic reservoir.
The Ruelco FA-1 Flame Arrestor provides protection for the enclosure or the tank contents in case of fire or any possible ignition source outside. Under normal conditions, the cover prevents rain, dust, or other contaminants from entering the enclosure or tank.
The Ruelco .030″ and .020″ diameter orifice is available in stainless steel. Each orifice is tested for performance as well as heat treatment for hardness.
The Ruelco RV-1 relief valve is a stainless steel, soft seat relief valve capable of pressures from 50 to 10,000 PSI. The size of the valve makes it ideal for small spaces while the stainless steel construction allows the valve to operate in corrosive systems.
The Ruelco CV-1 check valve is designed to provide reliable one-way flow. The 17-4 stainless steel construction allows for high corrosion resistance in harsh environments. The CV-1 was designed with a high flow rate in mind with the orifice being equal to 1/4″ ID tubing. The CV-1 can be disassembled and repaired without the need for special tools.
The Ruelco ‘SV-1′ shuttle valve is designed to act as a dual port non-return valve. Flow enters from both inlet ports on each side of the valve. Only the inlet with the higher pressure may flow through to the outlet port. The 17-4 stainless steel construction allows for high corrosion resistance in harsh environments.
The Ruelco High Pressure Regulator is a rapid response regulator designed to give precise low pressure control of a high pressure signal. A 6000 PSI inlet and a 0-250 PSI outlet allow the regulator to provide a steady control pressure. The valve also comes standard with a 20 micron stainless steel filter to ensure long life and clean flow.
Ruelco offers both piston and spring type accumulators that can be used to provide a means for regulating the performance of both low and high pressure hydraulic systems. They are suitable for storing hydraulic energy under high pressure, absorbing hydraulic shocks, and dampening pump pulsation and flow fluctuations. The 316 stainless steel construction allows for high corrosion resistance in harsh environments. The honed bore and wear ring allow for a smooth stroke, maximizing the total amount of life cycles. All models can be dissembled and cleaned without the need for special tools.
The Ruelco Self-Contained System is designed for the automatic closing of hydraulic actuators where an external power source is not available. The system allows the operator to easily and reliably open the well control actuator while ensuring proper functionality. The low and high pressure accumulators will maintain system pressure through temperature fluctuations. The integrated pressure switches allow for precise high and low pressure control of the flow line, and will automatically act to shut down the actuator.

SIL is a failure rate analysis which is used for a variety of design applications. Ruelco is able to provide preventable failure data to our customers based upon our years of field experience and our complete in-house testing data. Ruelco is able to offer many of our products with a SIL 3 capable rating with absolutely no modification or trim level change.
