Sensirion expands its 4th generation humidity sensing series with the digital SHT4xI sensor platform which has been specifically designed for challenging industrial applications. Mass flow controllers SFC6000D-5slm

The SFC6000 mass flow controller is Sensirion’s next-generation mass flow controller, impressive with an unbeatable price-performance ratio and a very attractive delivery time of eight weeks. While the industry is currently struggling with delivery times of 30 to 53 weeks, SFC6000 samples are available within two to four weeks. The SFC6000 is very small and light and therefore allows the customer to optimize their devices in terms of size and weight. This is a decisive advantage, especially for portable devices. The SFC5500 mass flow controller series represents the culmination of Sensirion’s excellent 20-year track record in precision control of gas flow. The sensor is based on the microthermal measurement principle and makes use of Sensirion’s proven CMOSens® MEMS Technology. This allowed us to build a radical mass flow controller with best-in-class performance and excellent reliability, which, unlike most other devices on the market, does not drift and does not require in-service re-calibration.
Thanks to the exceptionally high control range enabled by the CMOSens® MEMS flow sensor, the SFC5500 series can cover multiple flow ranges of a traditional mass flow controller in a single device. Coupled with multi-gas calibration and exchangeable fittings, the SFC5500 series is the first mass flow controllers on the market available as standard off-the-shelf products suitable for applications in medical, analytical, and industrial sectors. Thanks to this versatility, the SFC5500 series is also the first mass flow controller available via catalog distribution.
The SFC5500 series complements the SFC5xxx family of Sensirion’s best-in-class mass flow Controllers, offering the same top performance as SFC5400 and is thus suited for a broad range of applications where the best accuracy, highest speed, and widest dynamic range are needed. Versatile MFC for OEM projects with high unit quantities
The SFC5400 mass flow controller measures and controls mass flows with outstanding accuracy, long-term stability, and repeatability and covers an impressively wide dynamic measurement range. The SFC5400 is highly configurable and its body housing is made of metal. Furthermore, the flow controller is available with various interfaces and a variety of fluidic connections and measures maximum flow rates from 50 cm up to 200 SLM.
The sensor signal is directly converted into a digital, completely calibrated, and temperature-compensated signal on the chip. Multiple gas calibrations can be stored on a single device. Additionally, the flow controller can check whether the activated gas calibration matches the actual gas present. The versatility of the SFC5400 makes it the ideal solution for industrial and medical applications. The SFC5400 mass flow controller is, like all sensor products, based on the innovative CMOSens® Technology, which integrates the high-precision sensor element and the analog and digital processing electronics on a single CMOS silicon chip and guarantees outstanding performance.
Combined with high-quality materials, the result is a durably stable, extremely fast, and highly precise mass flow controller. The SFC5400 mass flow controller is available as a valve-free version too. The SFM5400 mass flow meter has the same performance characteristics as the mass flow controller and is used in similar applications, and the two products can be ideally combined. Gas flow sensors SFM4300-20-B

Pressure-resistant flow sensor, multi-gas, 20slm, base mount. The mass flow meter SFM4300 features improved sensitivity and precision, even for low flow rates. The small, compact sensor is calibrated for air, O2, CO2, and N2O gases, and – in contrast to its predecessor, the mass flow meter SFM4100 – it can also be used to monitor gas mixing. With a zero-point accuracy of 0.005 slm for a total range of up to 50 slm, the SFM4300 enables precise adjustment of the concentration in a wide selection of mixtures.
The sensor unit has an I²C interface and produces a fully calibrated and temperature-compensated output signal. The mass flow sensor can be used for both medical and industrial gas mixing, fuel cells, and other OEM applications. In addition to inspiratory, expiratory and proximal flow measurement, Sensirion offers sensor solutions for gas mixing applications. These sensors are mainly used in anesthesia machines and are usually integrated into the overall machine. If we want to guarantee the patient’s safety while taking accurate, reproducible readings, we need the flow sensors in the machine to be stable and reliable – throughout the machine’s service life. Therefore, the Sensirion SFM4000 series is the ideal solution.
It is divided in two sensors: SFM4300 and SFM4200. The SFM4300 sensor can operate at pressures of up to 6 bar, store multiple gas calibrations and even perform self-testing while in use. Where safety and reliability are concerned, the SFM4300 is the preferred choice. The SFM4200 sensor is highly resistant to pressure, it guarantees reliable measurements at surges of up to 8 bar. Its signal processing time is 0.5 ms, making it incredibly fast and accurate. Customers also benefit from an expanded measurement range of up to 160 liters per Minute.

Temperature STS41A-AD1B

Automotive grade ±0.3°C temperature sensor. The STS4xA is Sensirion’s highly reliable, automotive-grade digital temperature sensor series. The series currently consists of two versions: STS41A-AD1B and STS41A-AW1B, with the latter offering optional wettable flanks packaging to support automated optical inspection (AOI). Moreover, the integrated on-chip heater enables advanced onboard diagnosis (OBD).
The sensor platform is based on Sensirion’s CMOSens® Technology and extensive experience in temperature sensing, and it, therefore, benefits from the company’s well-established engineering expertise. The cost-efficient STS4xA features an I²C interface and provides a wide supply voltage range of 2.3–5.5 V. Thanks to its small size and the four-pin dual-flat no-leads (DFN) package, the STS4xA can easily be integrated into a variety of automotive applications. Temperature STS33-DIS

±0.48°C Digital temperature sensor with ISO17025 certifications STS33 is Sensirion’s certified low-drift digital temperature sensor with ISO17025 3-point calibration certificate. The STS33 temperature sensor utilizes the industry-proven CMOSens® Technology and wins over users with its increased intelligence, reliability, and ISO17025 certification (including but not limited to NIST traceability). The STS33 temperature sensor gives a fully calibrated, linearized, and supply-voltage-compensated digital output and has an outstanding accuracy of up to +/–0.1°C. The sensor platform is perfectly suited for cold and frozen chain applications and is specifically designed for operations from -30 to 70 degrees, ensuring high-accuracy measurements across the full measuring range.
Temperature STS404x-DIS

The STS4x is Sensirion’s state-of-the-art, highly accurate digital temperature sensor series, boasting industry-leading lead times. It is a fully digital, highly cost-efficient temperature sensor platform that is available in different accuracy classes, currently represented by the STS40. The STS4x temperature sensor range features enhanced signal processing, three distinctive I²C addresses, and communication speeds of up to 1 MHz.
Moreover, the dual-flat no-leads (DFN) package has a footprint of only 1.5 × 1.5 mm² while retaining a height of 0.5 mm, which allows for easy integration of the STS4x series into various applications. Additionally, the wide supply voltage range of 1.08 to 3.6 V and low current consumption of 0.4 µA for a typical average current at 1 measurement per second enables battery-driven designs. Taken together, the STS4x series achieves the greatest cost efficiency among comparable sensors on the market.
