Digital Pressure Gauges

Professional digital vacuum/water pressure gauges manufacturer, Skon’s digital pressure gauges are made with precision pressure measurement, excellent performance and stability. It can achieve high accuracy so that it can be used with a wide variety of pressure media in demanding industrial applications.

Pressure Transducers

The sensor is also called a pressure sensor or a pressure transmitter. It is a sensor used to measure the pressure of a gas or a liquid. Pressure measurement can be divided into dynamic and static, like gas is more likely to be static. The flowing liquid will change the pressure applied to the surroundings as dynamic, and the pressure sensor is responsible for sensing these, so different types of working principles will use different types of pressure sensors.

Pressure Gauges

Pressure gauges are common measuring instruments and are widely used in various fields. It can visually display the pressure changes in each process step, insight into the conditions in the product or media process, form a safety trend during the monitoring of production operations, and build a fast and reliable safety guarantee through automatic interlocking or sensing devices to prevent accidents. Safeguarding personal and property safety has played an important role. There are many types of pressure gauges, according to different installation and demands, divided into general pointer type, digital type, contact type, shockproof type and diaphragm type.

General Pressure/Oil Pressure Gauge

General pointer type pressure gauge, which simply displays the pressure and does not have the function of transmitting signal and adjustment function, it is the most widely used specification.

Digital Switch Pressure Gauge

The digital switch pressure gauge has setting and control functions, it can set parameters and upper/lower limit controls by itself. It is the preferred instrument for precision measurement control.

Magnetic Pressure Gauge

Compared with the general pressure gauge, magnetic pressure gauge has one more pointer can stay at the maximum value, which can record the maximum value in the range for easy observation.

Diaphragm Pressure Gauge

Diaphragm pressure gauges are suitable for measuring the medium with acidity or alkaline, high viscosity, easy crystallization, and easy solidification. It is necessary to avoid the medium into the pressure gauge and prevent sedimentation and easy cleaning.

Thermometers

Industrial dial thermometer manufacturer – Skon, is specialized in producing all kinds of dial thermometers. All of our industrial dial thermometers have passed the authentication finished SGS and RoHS standard correspondence. Furthermore, our products can be widely used in various applications. With outstanding OEM/ODM service, you can choose Skon as your reliable dial thermometer supplier.

Electric Contact Thermometers for Bottom Mounted Capillaries Connection

In electric contact thermometers, electric contact acts as a switch control that follows the dial value on the thermometer. Furthermore, thermometers with contactor have made possible the automation of temperature control and increased the safety of energy consuming. With reliable quality, you can rely on Skon as your ideal electric contact thermometers manufacturer.

Technical Data

What is a Pressure Gauge?

From the perspective of the installation structure, there are lower mount and center back mount types. The lower mount type is a basic installation type, and generally select lower mount type when the installation structure type is not specified. What is called center back mount type pressure gauge is the pressure gauge with a side (flange) that we often say.

Pressure Gauge Types

  1. General pressure, oil pressure gauge
General pointer type pressure gauge, which simply displays the pressure and does not have the function of transmitting signal and adjustment function, it is the most widely used specification.
  2. Digital switch pressure gauge
The digital switch pressure gauge has setting and control functions, it can set parameters and upper/lower limit controls by itself. It is the preferred instrument for precision measurement control.
  3. Magnetic pressure gauge
Compared with the general pressure gauge, magnetic pressure gauge has one more pointer can stay at the maximum value, which can record the maximum value in the range for easy observation.

What condition does the pressure gauge need to be filled with oil?

For some use cases, customers are advised to use a pressure gauge with filled liquid. The oil-filled pressure gauge can prevent many conditions.

  1. Filling liquid can be divided into glycerin and silicone oil, the most widely used filling liquid is glycerin.
  2. The pointer is shaken sharply due to vibration or pulse. At this time, the filling liquid of the pressure gauge can suppress vibrate of the pointer and ensure the correct pressure value.
  3. Strong vibration or pulse on the instrument not only affects the interpretation of the pressure value, but also damages the internal components and reduces the life of the pressure gauge. The filling fluid can make the measuring instrument have cushioning and vibrate resistance function. At the same time, the interlocking components such as the internal Bourdon tube can also be lubricated by the filling liquid to reduce the damage of the components.

Different filling liquids can be selected based on different working environments and temperatures.

What conditions will the pressure gauge not return to zero?

When using a pressure gauge, there are some reasons why the pressure gauge does not return to zero. Non-return to zero is a visually perceptible condition. When the gauge is not in use or has no pressure source, the pointer is not at zero. The following are common factors for the pressure gauge not to return to zero.

  1. The pressure source has not receded: it will return to zero after waiting for a while.
  2. The oil-filled gauge or compound gauge does not return to zero: it may be caused by different atmospheric pressures inside and outside. At this time, pull out the oil plug make the inside of the gauge breathable, make the internal and external atmospheric pressures are balanced, and it can be returned to zero. Put the oil plug back in after return to zero.
  3. The pressure gauge falls or collides: If it does not return to zero just small range, if the pressure gauge has the reset button, you can use the screwdriver to turn the reset button to fine-tune. If the range is too big, you need to replace the pressure gauge.
  4. Improper installation: The valve position is inaccurate or moving, resulting in the pressure source not being able to transmit correctly. At this time, it is necessary to re-install.

How to Install Pressure Gauge?

  1. When the pressure gauge is locked, do not hold the pressure gauge case with your hand, otherwise it will cause serious damage inside the pressure gauge.
  2. The user should confirm that the selected pressure gauge is the correct pressure range and specifications before installation.
  3. When there is an explosion-proof hole on the top of the pressure gauge or an explosion-proof hole on the back, make sure that it is at least 20mm away from any object.
  4. When locking, be sure to use the torque of the wrench to lock the connection to avoid damage to the pressure gauge.
