Description Of Lithium Metal Oxide Batteries
supplying continuous current at high rates and/or strong pulses with a 20-year shelf life
The TLM Series lithium metal oxide batteries, which come in four varieties (strong Energy, High Power, Ultra High Power, and Military Grade), are perfect for uses requiring strong pulses and/or high rate continuous power even after extended storage.
strong voltage (4.0 V), strong pulses, and continuous high rate power are all provided by TLM Series batteries without any passivation impact or delayed reaction. With a yearly self-discharge rate of less than 3%, these cells also have a long-term storage capacity and a broad temperature range (-55°C to +85°C).
With less reactive anode materials and non-toxic, non-pressurized solvents than conventional lithium cells, TLM batteries are UL-recognized for safety. In a number of safety tests, such as nail piercing, crush tests, high temperature chambers, short circuit, and charge tests, these batteries have shown good performance.
Even further ruggedization is seen in the Military Grade Series.
