Description of Honda HL2000 Ultrasonic Level Meter
Honda HL2000 ultrasonic signal has the characteristic that it reflects where the density changes. The submerged sensor transmits an ultrasonic signal, and then the signal reflects at the interface inside the tank. Some parts of the signal penetrate into the sludge and it also reflects at the rake or bottom of the tank.
Ultrasonic signal transfers in the unclear water. There is no need to contact the measuring object (sludge), the measurement can be done without sinking the sensor deep into the tank.

Features of Honda HL2000 Ultrasonic Level Meter
- A wide range of distances can be measured from 0.4 to 10 m from the sensor’s transmitting surface.
- A single unit can measure two locations. (Standard equipment: 1 sensor)
- Using ultrasonic waves enables measurement without effects from transparency, or chromaticity, regardless of day and night.
- The interface is measured by processing calculations based on the assumption of changes in the quality of the upper water and sediment sludge concentration, so there is no need to change the setting values or readjust them depending on the condition of the facility.
- No driving parts in the converter and sensor, which enables stable measurement over a long period of time.
Output of Honda HL2000 Ultrasonic Level Meter
- Alarm output
- 4-20mA
- RS232C
*Transmission to a PC is possible with optional communication software.
Application of Honda HL2000 Ultrasonic Level Meter
- Interface management of settling tank at industrial wastewater treatment facility
- Interface management for a settling tank at a sewage treatment facility
