The Solinst Sonic Water Level Meter is a portable, handheld device that is easy to use. It includes a Solinst Field Bag, a plastic cover for larger wells, and a Control Unit with attached Probe.

About Model 104 Sonic Water Level Meter

A portable acoustic ranging device, the Solinst Sonic Water Level Meter is made to rapidly and easily measure the depth to static water level in a piezometer, sounding tube, well, or any other closed pipe.

There is no need to introduce chemicals or clean wells or equipment since the Sonic Water Level Meter provides static water level readings without requiring any instruments to be lowered into the well.

The Solinst Sonic Water Level Meter is perfect for wells with challenging access and may be used in both straight and crooked pipelines. It is feasible to determine depths up to 600 meters (2000 feet).

104 Sonic Water Level Meter Operation

The Control Unit and attached Probe make up the Solinst Sonic Water Level Meter. The Control Unit comes with six AA changeable batteries, a keyboard, and a crisp LCD display. The Control Unit keypad contains controls to navigate through and adjust other parameters, as well as buttons to switch the Probe on and off and read the depth to water.
