Model 2203 Variable Secondary Pressure Flow Controller is a control valve that keeps mass flows at a constant rate under a given constant level of supply pressure even when the load pressure on the secondary side (outlet side) fluctuates, and its construction is designed so that the performance of its precision control overflows to the set flow rate is maintained by the incorporated precision needle valve without being affected by such fluctuations.

1. Variable Secondary Pressure Control
Unlike standard regulators, the Model 2203 is a “Variable Secondary” controller. It is specifically designed for systems where the outlet pressure changes, but the flow must remain rock-solid. It compensates for these fluctuations using an internal diaphragm-linkage mechanism.
2. Non-Rotary Needle Structure
The needle valve inside the 2203 utilizes a non-rotary structure. This prevents the needle from grinding against the seat, which minimizes wear, eliminates “sawtooth” flow fluctuations during adjustment, and significantly extends the device’s lifespan.
3. Ultra-Clean Assembly
Kofloc ensures that all components are “super-cleaned” before assembly. This makes the Model 2203 safe for use in Gas Chromatography (GC) and other high-sensitivity analytical instruments where oil or dust contamination would ruin results.
