The SAS® Tank offers the chance to effectively separate and remove the oil in both space and time. The oil-free water proceeds to be treated, recycled, or released. A Brill® tube-style oil skimmer for Active Oil RemovalTM is installed in the SAS® Tank to continually remove the separated oil. Any water or coolant that the skimmer collects is returned to the application via a decanter. The decanting procedure guarantees that the recovered oil has the least amount of water feasible.

An oil skimmer of the Brill® tube type is a characteristic of the SAS® Tank. By continuously removing oil, the integrated oil skimmer prevents the accumulation of oil in the separation chamber, which is the main reason why other kinds of oil-water separators are inefficient.

Oil from the liquid’s surface is sucked into the floating tube, which then moves through a number of scrapers in the skimmer. The oil drips into the decanter of the SAS® Tank as the scrapers remove it. To collect more oil, the cleaned tube goes back to the tank.
