JSV Series Pumps Descriptions

The JSV series centrifugal pumps provide automatic self-priming and large solids handling. The durable construction and highly efficient designs provide longer life, economical operations, and lower fuel costs. Thompson Pump’s exclusive OVT (oil-less vacuum technology) dry priming pump provides 97 cfm for rapid priming and includes the exclusive Enviroprime System® that eliminates product blow-by.

The OVT is a multi-purpose pump that can be used on most construction sites. The centrifugal pump end is designed with efficiency in mind for improved fuel economy and the ductile iron components add a longer life.

Working Principle

As the claws of the oil-less vacuum pump rotate, the vacuum produced draws air from the centrifugal pump and suction line to automatically prime the centrifugal pump. The Enviroprime System® chamber connected to the suction of the pump directs the air to the oil-less vacuum pump and prevents any fluid from entering the oil-less vacuum pump or discharging onto the ground.

Recon Telemetry System
The pump is operated and monitored through cellular, satellite and Wi-Fi, allowing access to pump metrics, the ability to pull reports, and to set alarms through a digital dashboard.

Silent Knight®
Sound-attenuated canopy reduces pump sound levels to or below 69 dBA. Fully insulated, weather-proof and lockable, the Arctic Night® variation is ideal for extremely cold temperatures.

Self-Cleaning Impeller
Serrated wear plate shreds apart stringy materials, preventing ragging and reducing pump clogging. Significantly decreases pump maintenance time. Ideal for sewer bypass.
