- Stabilization Period: Upon first use or after changing temperatures, the tube requires a stabilization period (typically 24 to 48 hours) to reach a steady-state permeation rate.
- Temperature Sensitivity: A change of only $1^{\circ}C$ can result in a 5% to 10% change in the permeation rate, making a stable heat source mandatory.
