General Information
APG MPI-F Flexible Magnetostrictive Float Level Transmitter features a 316L SS flexible tubing braided stem that uncoils easily for simple installation in tall tanks. The MPI Series Intrinsically Safe Magnetostrictive Level sensor provides highly accurate and repeatable level readings in a wide variety of liquid level measurement applications.
The MPI-R’s large, buoyant, and robust float allows for use in harsh applications where fouling or buildup might otherwise be of concern. The MPI-E’s lighter weight design allows it to be used in applications where space is limited. The MPI-E Chemical has a chemical resistant coating, allowing for use in corrosive, acidic, or marine environments.
The MPI-F’s flexible stainless steel stem allows for installation in tall tanks without needing a crane, and the MPI-T’s 1” titanium stem provides compatibility in a wider range of corrosive media–including H2S–in larger tanks. The MPI-F does everything you expect from an MPI, but with more flexibility. Its 316L SS flexible tubing with braided stem simplifies installation in tall tanks without compromising its Class I, Div 1 Intrinsically Safe rating.

APG Float Level Transmitter Modbus Output
The RS-485 Modbus RTU output makes the MPI compatible with any Modbus controller or PLC. The MPI can also be paired with an MDI to create a self-contained, Intrinsically Safe level measurement system.
Tank Cloud Compatible
The MPI liquid level sensor is a Tank Cloud slave sensor, able to communicate via the Internet with the addition of an LOE Master sensor or an RST-5003 module.
APG Float Level Transmitter Flexible
The MPI-F is designed with ease of use in mind. The 316 SS flexible tubing stem coils for compact shipping, and with the stem weight attached, uncoils easily into your tank, so you no longer need an 40-foot crane to install a 20-foot probe in a 20-foot tank.
