The Hawkman HMFM Magnetic Flow Meter is resistant to harsh chemicals and is available in flanged and wafer styles. The ideal measurement solution for liquid applications, from waste treatment to pulp and paper.

HAWK’s Ultrasonic Flow Meters

HAWK’s Ultrasonic flow meters measure the flow of most liquids using clamp-on digital ultrasound transducers. The clamp-on transducers are made of rugged PVDF and rated NEMA 4X. They are easy to install and do not use any moving parts. Choose from either portable or fixed units. UltraFlo can measure almost any fluid from potable water to 30% thickened sludge.

The HawkSonic HSD3 ultrasonic flow meter is a fixed or portable, clamp-on flow meter that is easy to install, accurate, and simple to use. The HawkSonic HSD3 is equipped with intelligent software to ensure high accuracy and low-velocity response. The flow meter has the ability to be a fixed unit or a portable unit. The HawkSonic HSD3 ultrasonic flow meter is widely used in applications such as oil and gas, water treatment, pure water, chemical, and much more.

HAWK’s Coriolis Mass Flow Meters

HAWK’s Coriolis Mass Flow Meters allow for real-time measurement of density and flow in liquids, slurries, and gases. This rugged flow meter delivers accurate measurements for virtually any process fluid while exhibiting exceptionally low-pressure drop. The ideal solution for liquid and gas applications, from chemical feed to pulp and paper.

The HawkCor HCFM Coriolis Mass Flow Meters are the leading precision flow and density measurement solution offering the most accurate and repeatable mass measurement for liquids or slurries.

HAWK’s Open Channel Flow Meters

HAWK’s Open Channel flow meters are supplied for effluent flows, gravity-fed sewer lines, stormwater monitoring, clarifier effluent flow, and many other applications. These meters are configured for weirs or flumes. The sophisticated software locates and tracks the correct echo regardless of objects or changes in the liquid surface. Ideal for a variety of applications from water treatment to irrigation.

The Sultan Flow measurement system operates by transmitting an ultrasonic signal from its transducer toward the liquid being monitored. The reflected signal or echo is received by the transducer and processed. The time between transmission of the ultrasonic signal and reception of the echo is measured, and using the speed of sound through air, the distance from the transducer to the liquid level is calculated. Flow through the channel or structure is then calculated from the level measurement and the user-entered properties of the channel.

HAWK’s Variable Area Flow Meter

Three defining traits of HAWK’s Variable Area line of flow meters are easy installation, accuracy, and low maintenance. So durable and reliable, most last over 30 years. These meters are no ordinary volumetric flow meters. With an excellent tolerance to suspended solids, no need for straight runs of pipe, and over thirty years of tried and true use in harsh applications, these flow meters are ideal for a wide variety of applications.

The HawkVFlo HFVC PVC & CPVC flow meters are simple, accurate variable area meters and resistant to many acids, alkalis, salt solutions, and other corrosives. These meters have excellent tolerance to suspended solids and measure flow to one percent accuracy. Unlike tapered tube rotameters, the HawkVFlo HFVC flow meters have an indicator disk in close proximity to the edge of the sight tube for visibility even in many dirty fluids. Alternatively, the magnetic indication is available for accurate reading regardless of the media. These meters can be supplied with the HFT2 2-Wire Transmitters for flow rate and total.

Flow Switches

HAWK’s Flow Switches feature single and dual alarm applications, adjustable flow, temperature and flow, airflow, and inline flow. The flow switches do not interfere with flow meter accuracy and many can be field adjusted. Ideal for a wide variety of applications from gas to damper regulators.

HawkSentry HSFS3 Universal Single or Dual Flow Switch
HawkSentry HSFS3 Universal Single or Dual Flow Switch

Compatible with all HawkVFlo Variable Area Flow Meters, HawkSentry 3 flow switch is a great choice for a variety of single or dual alarm applications. HawkSentry 3 provides a high/low or high and low-level switch with a dry contact relay output and is DC powered. This alarm system can be added to most HawkVFlo flow devices to provide intelligent process automation as well as safety capabilities. The red LED alert light brings immediate attention to process conditions. Typical applications include process lube oil flow, gas flows, biodiesel fuel manufacturing, chemical processing, biomedical, coolant system, and water, and wastewater treatment facilities.

Solids Flow Sensors

HAWK’s Solids Flow Sensors are used in process applications that require highly reliable non-contact, non-intrusive product flow detection and movement. The sensors are easy to install and set up. They are available with remote or integral options. Ideal for a wide variety of applications.

Gladiator Doppler Microwave Flow Switch
Gladiator Doppler Microwave Flow Switch

The HAWK Gladiator Doppler Microwave flow switch is used in process applications requiring highly reliable non-contact, nonintrusive product flow detection and movement. The system operates by sending out bursts of microwave energy toward the target product being monitored. The target product will reflect some of the microwave energy back to the system where it is processed to determine if the product is flowing or moving.
