Hydrometers for Specific Gravity
hydrometer is a measuring instrument for determining the density or specific gravity of liquids. The instrument is immersed in a liquid until the weight force of the displaced liquid corresponds to the weight force of the immersed body. Hydrometers are used, among other places, in laboratories, dairies or wineries (must scales) used.

For accurate density measurement and to ensure an exact measurement result, make sure to use a container (stand cylinder, see accessories) with the appropriate size or capacity. In addition, the temperature of the liquid should correspond to the reference temperature of the instrument (as a rule +15 °C to +20 °C).
Use our high-quality hydrometers for the determination of the specific weight of liquids according to ASTM E100-19.
