Through the years, the company has grown in size and reputation and is now a leading, global manufacturer of industrial instrumentation. Our comprehensive product lines of pressure gauges, thermometers, diaphragm seals, transmitters, switches and accessories are brought to market by an extensive network of distribution partners and are trusted by some of the world’s most recognized Fortune 500 companies.

Winters Instruments currently operates from 8 worldwide offices. In North America alone, Winters operates 3 stocking facilities, enabling distributors to access over $10 million worth of inventory.

The Services of Winters Instruments

Calibration

  • Servicing for instrumentation accuracy against certified test gauge
  • Available for all gauges and thermometers
  • Calibration can be certified

Dial Charging

  • To replace old or outdated dials
  • Any Winters or non-Winters instrumentation can have dials replaced
  • Custom dials are available – Winters can design dials to your specifications

Fluid Filling / Drying

  • Fluid filled gauges dampen and lessen pointer vibration of gauges
  • Top up fluid in cases where existing fluid has leaked out
  • All fill fluids available
  • Convert to dry gauge if fluid fill is no longer required

G.A.P. Audits

  • A Winters Sales Professional tours a facility documenting instrumentation (Winters and non-Winters)
  • They identify and document working and non-working instrumentation
  • A report is provided identifying instrumentation part numbers and locations and notifying corrective actions required (if any)

Oxygen Cleaning

  • Critical when the instrument is to be used in oxygen service
  • Cleaning of Bourdon tube and gauge socket
  • Oxygen cleaned gauges will be returned in individually sealed bags in marked boxes
  • Available for all instrumentation

Seal Assembly

  • For all types of seals and pressure gauges, switches and transmitters
  • Compatible Winters and non-Winters products are accepted
  • Diaphragm seal filling included in service
  • Calibration is done on all assembled units

Repairs

  • Full repair for pressure and temperature instruments and diaphragm seals
  • Non-Winters products can also be repaired
  • Recommended when cost savings justify repairing rather than replacing

The Product of Winters Instruments

Pressure Gauges

Process Pressure Gauges :

Solid phenolic front and polypropylene pressure relief back safety case, Field liquid-fillable (bottom connection only) with ±0.5% accuracy, Stainless steel full rotary movement for longer life, Micrometer adjustable pointer for ease in calibration, Under and overload stops, 316L stainless steel, brass or Monel® wetted parts, Restricted orifice standard on dual scale (optional on single scale), ASME B40.100 compliant, RoHS compliant (SS and Monel® internals only).

STABILIZR® Gauges :

StabiliZR® dampened movement minimizes effects of pulsation and vibration, Most economical, all-purpose pressure gauge, and 1.5” (40mm) to 4” (100mm) sizes. General-purpose gauge for plumbing, heating, air conditioning, pneumatic, hydraulic, water tanks and air compressors and suitable for non-clogging and non-corroding media.

Industrial Pressure Gauges :

Ideal for pumps, compressors, hydraulic presses, power packs and pneumatic equipment in industrial environments with extreme vibration and pulsation. Robust construction resistant to extreme vibration and pulsation, and Universal fill compatibility for flexibility of filling with glycerin or silicone.

Economy Gauges :

A general-purpose gauge that is serviceable and pulsation resistant for Compressors, filters, regulators, water pumps, paint sprayers and a variety of other rapid pressure fluctuation applications.

Lead Free Gauges :

Economical 4.5” (115mm) stainless steel case gauge, Most commercial air, water and steam services that require a ±1% full-scale accuracy.

Pressure Transmitters

Applications for pressure monitoring for oil and gas, well head process control, petrochemical installations, power generation equipment and all hazardous locations.

Pressure Switches

Field applications include: monitoring air filters and ventilators, overheating protection for fan heaters and controlling air and fire protection flaps, protection for heat exchangers, flow in ventilation ducts and controlling. Excellent solution in BAS and HVAC applications requiring monitoring and control, Low pressure differential switch for monitoring pressure, vacuum and differential pressure of air and other non combustible, non aggressive gases, and pressure indicating adjustment knob allows for simple field changes without the need of a pressure gauge.

Diaphragm Seals

Provides an economical solution to protect instruments from corrosion and clogging, Used to isolate and protect a pressure instrument on ultra-pure or highly corrosive fluid lines and Can be used with liquids such as demineralized water, sulphuric acid, hydrochloric acid and caustic gases (such as corrosive air and ammonia), where such fluids will corrode metal instruments.

Thermometers

Applications for Heating, plumbing, air conditioning and ventilation applications, and Brass socket 1/2” NPT is standard (stainless steel optional) material.

RTDS and Thermocouples

TY52 can be utilized and installed anywhere where temperature measurement is required. From Oil & Gas installations to Power Generation, this product has a rugged design and is equipped with the communication protocols to meet all your day to day requirements.

Thermowells

for applications Allows for the creation of a “sealed system”, whereby the thermometer can be removed from the application without the need for shutting down or draining the system and To protect the thermometer from possible exposure to the process media.
