The hydrometer is a measuring instrument for determining the density or specific gravity of liquids. The instrument is immersed in a liquid until the weight force of the displaced liquid corresponds to the weight force of the immersed body. Hydrometers are used, among other places, in laboratories, dairies or wineries (must scales) used.
ALCOHOLOMETERS

lcoholometers are used to determine volume concentration or content of alcohol in alcohol-water-mixtures. The percentage of alcohol content can be read directly from the scale. They are available either as range finders (0-100 percent by volume) or as finely scaled hydrometer sets. Precision alcoholmeters can be implemented either with or without thermometer. Integrated thermometers are available with organic, environmentally-friendly filling.
API HYDROMETERS

he API gravity describes the unit for the density of crude oil. You will receive our precision hydrometers in degree API acc. to ASTM E100-19 and ASTM E2995-15a and also in versions with or without integrated thermometers.

HYDROMETERS FOR LIQUID GASES

Precision hydrometer for liquid gases are used for measurements in liquid hydrocarbons as e.g. propane, butane, mixtures there of or like media To retain liquidity a pressure of up to 15 bar is possible at +15 °C. The thermometer tube is enclosed in an additional glass guard which helps avoid faulty reading due to pressure to the thermometer tube.. Common norms specifications like DIN 12804 and ASTM E100-19 are complied with, of course.

HYDROMETERS FOR DAIRIES

Lactometers are used to supervise and control production in dairies, the cheese industry, milk processing plants, and laboratories. They determine the density of milk, skim milk, buttermilk, condensed milk and other liquids of the dairy industry.
The different shapes of the instruments and their ranges are adapted to their use. Hydrometers for dairies in versions with or without integrated thermometers available. Because of the opaqueness of milk these instruments are always to be read at the top, and the scale is at the top of the stem. The instrument has a thermometer in body. We offer our lactometers with eco-friendly, mercury-free filling.
HYDROMETERS FOR MUST PRODUCERS

Hydrometers for must producers are required for the determination of extracts as well as the determination of the alcohol and sugar content of fruit juices, must and wine. HYDROMETERS ACCORDING TO BAUME

The hydrometer is a measuring instrument for determining the density or specific gravity of liquids. The instrument is immersed in a liquid until the weight force of the displaced liquid corresponds to the weight force of the immersed body. For an accurate density measurement and a precise measurement result, make sure to use a container (standing cylinder, see accessories) with the appropriate size or capacity. In addition, the temperature of the medium should correspond to the reference temperature of the instrument (usually +15 to +20 °C).

DOUBLE-FUNCTION ENGINE GLASS THERMOMETERS WITH ELECTRICAL PROBES
Double-function engine glass thermometers are manufactured as special engine thermometers with additionally integrated Pt100. This allows you to read the current temperature at the engine glass thermometer and to use the temperature measured with the Pt100 for remote visualization or measurement processing.
Our double-function engine glass thermometer is available with one or two Pt100 units. The connection is affected with a 3-wire circuit when using a Pt100. If a thermometer with two Pt100 units is used they are operated in 2-wire circuit.
We would also be happy to optionally deliver the thermometer with an integrated 4 … 20mA interface to reduce interference at a long connection cable. In this case the 4 … 20mA interface is installed with an additional connection head.
DIAL THERMOMETERS

Thanks to their simple structure bi-metal dial thermometers are cost-effective temperature measuring instruments and have proven to be versatile. The many different versions allow a wide variety of applications and industries.
On the other hand, gas-filled precision dial-thermometers react rapidly and have a high and consistent display accuracy of ±1 % of the full-scale value. With rigid shaft and long-distance piping these can supplied up to 40 m.
Exhaust gas dial thermometers are especially robust, water-, dust- and oil-tight and furthermore react rapidly. Their liquid filling stabilizes them against strong vibrations. They are corrosion protected and have a high service life even under hard conditions.
The dials of our dial thermometers are adapted to application-specific requirements The scale division and figures depend on the respective dial size. WATER TRIPLE POINT CELL

The water triple point is the most accurately representable fixed point of the 1990 International Temperature Scale (ITS 90). It is 0.01 °C or 273.16 Kelvin. The accuracy is 0.0001 °C. Due to the high thermal equilibrium of this fixed point, the water triple point cell is optimal for high-precision calibration (e.g. e. g. of platinum resistance thermometers).
