Features OF Gastec P-71-H Permeation Tube Methyl Mercaptan
High-Range Calibration: Specifically engineered to provide a higher output concentration (3$0.16$ to 4$11.4$ ppm) compared to standard permeation tubes.5
Highly Stable Gas Stream: Utilizes a fluororesin (FEP) membrane that allows a precise, constant amount of $CH_3SH$ to diffuse out when maintained at a steady temperature.
Dynamic Calibration Method: Because the gas is generated “on-demand” by the permeater, it is more accurate for highly reactive or “sticky” gases like mercaptans compared to static cylinders.
Gravimetric Traceability: Each tube is calibrated by the weight-loss method, allowing for high-accuracy calculations of the final gas concentration.
Compact & Safe Storage: Contains only a small amount of liquefied chemical, making it safer and easier to store than pressurized gas cylinders.
