About Elmetro
Elmetro group of companies begins in the mid-90s with the creation of a team of developers based on the laboratory of the instrument-making department of the South Ural State University (SUSU) (see Figure 1). The formed specialized design bureau has developed over twenty types of industrial measuring instruments under contracts with well-known Russian brands in the field of industrial automation.
The company develops daily and constantly upgrades its products. In 2016, the company became an official member of the HART Communication Foundation . Several of our devices: Coriolis flowmeters ELMETRO-Flomac , ultrasonic gas flowmeters ELMETRO-Flows , radar level meters ELMETRO-RPU , are produced with a HART interface.
The enterprise is a regular participant of the most important international and all-Russian exhibitions, seminars and conferences, as well as a laureate of competitions held by federal development institutions. As part of cooperation with the Innovation Promotion Fund, grants were received under such programs as NTI-2017, Commercialization – VIII.
Today, the company employs more than 200 employees, 75% of whom have higher education, many of them are graduates of the SUSU Faculty of Instrument Engineering. The development team of our own research center includes 5 candidates of sciences, university professors, graduate students and young specialists.
The enterprise has a cooperation agreement with the South Ural State University (SUSU) and Chelyabinsk State University (ChelSU) and provides an opportunity for students to have an internship, while it should be noted that the presence of creative ideas combined with experience and a scientific approach make it possible to create modern electronic equipment with unique characteristics.
The active participation of ELMETRO in scientific activities is confirmed by the presence of patents for inventions and utility models, in particular, for a Coriolis flow meter, an ultrasonic flow meter transducer and a test bench for level gauges.

Elmetro-Flows (DRU) Gas Flow Meters
(hereinafter referred to as flow meters) are designed to measure the volume flow and volume of gas under operating conditions, calculate the volume flow and volume of gas reduced to standard conditions, calculate the mass flow, mass and calorific value of gases, in including natural and associated oil.

The flowmeter converts the measured and calculated values ??into standard output signals:
- frequency-pulse (the maximum frequency of the output signal of the flow meter is adjustable in the range from 1 to 10000 Hz);
current (4-20 mA) digital (Modbus RTU via RS-485 interface). - The flowmeters are designed both for process control and for use in custody transfer systems.
Multi-parameter Coriolis flowmeter ELMETRO-Flomac

(hereinafter referred to as flowmeter or ElMetro-Flomac) is an innovative device based on DSP technology (Digital Signal Processor) designed for direct measurement of mass flow, density and temperature of highly viscous and corrosive liquids, gases, slurries and oils, calculation of volume flow, mass and volume, reduced density/volume flow and concentration of two-component media (oil water cut) in commercial and process metering systems. It has a general industrial and explosion-proof design .
The videographic recorder ELMETRO-ViER-M7
is designed to measure, record, visualize and convert electrical signals from sensors and devices: DC current and voltage, resistance, resistance thermometers, thermocouples, pyrometers, digital signals (RS-485, CAN, Ethernet), as well as media flow calculations . The registrar is made in a panel version. The registrar has a capacitive touch screen and general industrial design.
ELMETRO-ViER-M7 recorders are designed to replace paper recorders and can be used to collect and transfer data to various control systems (APCS), because have interfaces RS-485 (ModBus RTU) , CAN 2.0, Ethernet (Modbus/TCP). Recorders perform the functions of regulation, signaling, mathematical processing of the measured parameters.

The ability to display technological process mnemonic diagrams on the screen greatly facilitates the understanding of information, especially in emergency situations at the facility. The touch screen simplifies the process of configuring the recorder. Based on the recorder, it is possible to build distributed data collection systems using external input/output modules, such as ELMETRO-MVV or ELMETRO-MVV-02-Ex . They can be used in almost all industries, including responsible and hazardous industries.
Thanks to advanced mathematical and logical capabilities, they can perform functions similar to those of industrial controllers. They can also be used as flow rate calculators for media by pressure drop, gas correctors (flow rate calculation in accordance with GOST 8.586.(1-5)-2005) and have PID control functions.

Radar level gauges ELMETRO-RPU are designed for non-contact level measurement of liquid, viscous and bulk products in closed and open tanks.

Vibrating signaling devices ELMETRO-VSPU
The signaling devices are designed to control and signal the limiting levels of liquids in open or closed, including tanks under pressure in technological installations, the presence of liquid in pipelines. The type of signaling is determined by the position of the signaling device in the tank, pipeline, etc. The working position of the signaling device is any, providing control of the level or presence of the working medium.
The signaling device can be used in regulation and control systems in various industries: metallurgical, oil refining, chemical, energy and others. High resistance to dynamic loads of signaling devices allows them to be mounted in railway and truck tanks.
The explosion-proof detector can be used at facilities in zones 0, 1 and 2 in accordance with GOST IEC 60079-10-1-2013, where mixtures of flammable gases and vapors with air of group II of subgroup IIC of temperature classes T6..T3 inclusive in accordance with GOST IEC 60079 are possible -10-1-2013.
