Efficiently Manage Liquid Level with Point Level Control
Ultrasonic Liquid Level Switches

Kenco Ultrasonic liquid level switches are used in a wide variety of applications to detect the location of level in a process or storage vessel. These switches can be used in virtually any liquid. A complete offering of materials and mounting configurations are available to meet your application needs.
Thermal Differential Level & Flow Switches

KENCO’s Thermal Differential Switches are designed for a wide range of flow and level applications. These switches can be used to direct either the overall liquid level or a liquid-liquid interface. They can also be used to detect a specific flow rate or flow/no flow condition in liquids and gasses.
KEFS Electric Float Switch
The KENCO Model KEFS uses a float to determine the presence or absence of liquid in a vessel at the process connection. The float arm assembly consists of a float at one end and a magnet at the other. As the level in the vessel rises, the float rises and the magnet falls. The magnet actuates a second magnet on the other side of the pressure boundary. This second magnet causes the switch to change state.

The pressure boundary contains no seals; it is a solid stainless steel barrier that passes a magnetic field, but no liquids. It is impossible for the process liquid to enter the switch enclosure through this barrier. The electrical contacts consist of a microswitch that can be either a single-pole, Double-throw (SPDT) or Double-pole, Double-throw configuration (DPDT). The SPDT Switch is available with either a 5 Amp or 8 Amp current load. The DPDT Switch is only available with a 4 Amp current load.
KPFS Pneumatic Float Switch
The KENCO Model KPFS uses a float to determine the presence or absence of liquid in a vessel at the process connection. The float arm assembly consists of a float at one end and a magnet at the other. As the level in the vessel rises, the float rises and the magnet falls. The magnet actuates a second magnet on the other side of the pressure boundary. This second magnet is the reactive component in the snap acting switch that opens and closes the pneumatic valve. Because of the nature of the design, adjustment is rarely, if ever needed. In the event that adjustment is needed, an easy to use adjustment screw is provided.

The Kenco float switch Model KPFS is used to actuate pneumatic dump valves, such as the Model KDV Series Dump Valve, to control liquids in scrubbers, separators and other vessels. The pressure boundary contains no seals; it is a solid stainless steel barrier that passes a magnetic field, but no liquids. It is impossible for the process liquid to enter the switch enclosure through this barrier. The Model KPFS Pneumatic Float Switch can be ordered to have the pneumatic valve open when it senses a liquid level rising (-LR option) or open when it senses the liquid level falling (-LF option). A manual valve actuator is provided to open the valve manually, if desired.
KT Series Magnetostrictive Level Transmitter
The in-tank liquid level transmitter is a continuous multi-functional Magnetostrictive transmitter that provides product level, interface level, and temperature to the user via Analog (4-20mA) with HART®, Modbus RTU (Remote Terminal Unit) or DDA (Direct Digital Access). Magnetostrictive technology is one of the most accurate and repeatable level technologies available to date. Once the transmitter is installed and calibrated, there is no requirement for scheduled maintenance or recalibration.
Magna-Site™ Magnetic Level Gauge
The KENCO Magna-Site is a magnetic level gauge used to determine the volume of liquid contained within a tank. Because the Magna-Site eliminates the need for glass, high pressure applications and hazardous locations are protected from the danger of a chemical spill due to glass failure.
The KENCO Magna-Site utilizes three major components: the gauge housing chamber, the magnetic float, and the magnetic flag assembly (Indicator).
The gauge housing chamber is typically mounted adjacent to the side of the tank. It is constructed to withstand the same temperatures and pressures as the tank itself. It is equipped with the appropriate tank mounting connections for easy installation and to allow equalization of liquid level in tank and gauge.
K9900 Series Level Gauge
The patented Kenco K9900 Series Level Gauge features an innovative casting design which will simplify the installation process and eliminate other typical problems associated with gauge glass. The K9900 Series incorporates floating misalignment unions, which will allow the process connection centerlines to vary +/-1/4?. The gauge also has integral offset pattern valves with ball check shutoffs. 1/2? FNPT vent and drain connections are inline for routine sight glass maintenance. The K9900 Series Level Gauge delivers a safe, low maintenance, cost effective solution to common sight glass applications.
KMR & KHR Reflex Level Gauges and Valves
KENCO Flat Glass Gauges are used where direct visual observation of process fluids is required. These gauges are suitable for a wide range of applications with pressures up to 4000 psig (275.79 bar) @ 100°F (37.7°C), and temperatures up to 750°F (398.8°C) @ 2300 psig (158.57 bar). KENCO gauges are available in a wide variety of construction materials, connections and other options to meet most specifications.
KMT & KHT Transparent Level Gauges & Valves

These gauges are suitable for a wide range of applications with pressures up to 4000 psig (275.79 bar) @ 100oF (37.7°C), and temperatures up to 750oF (398.8°C) @ 2300 psig (158.57 bar). KENCO gauges are available in a wide variety of construction materials, connections and other options to meet most specifications.
KWR & KWT Weld Pad Level Gauges
KENCO Weld Pad Flat Glass Gauges are used where direct visual observation of process fluids is required. This gauge style is designed to be welded directly to the vessel wall and is available with either reflex or transparent glass configurations. Transparent configurations can be provided with mica or Kel-F shields if needed. Multiple different ASME approved material options are offered for the wetted chamber. All materials meet or exceed ASTM standards to withstand even the most demanding application requirements. In addition to the different material options offered, the gauge chamber can also be supplied with an optional machined radius to match the curvature of the vessel when required.
8800 Series Level Gauge
The 8800 Series Level Gauge features 90° connections for ease of installation. The Gauge is fitted with inline 1/4? FNPT vent and drain connections. Because the vent and drain connections are inline, glass cleaning is easy. The centerline dimensional tolerance is 1/16?. This assures that the gauge will fit the mounting connection of the tank. The sight tube of the 8800 Series Level Gauge is totally protected. Three sides of the gauge are enclosed with a metal frame, while the face of the gauge is protected with a polycarbonate shield. This shield can be custom calibrated to read tank volume or any other calibration. Refer to the Product Specifications tab to see the assortment of standard shield options.
EPG Environmental Protection Gauge
The Environmental Protection Gauge (EPG) is easy to install. It installs just like tubular glass and is designed to replace your existing tubular glass. It will eliminate glass breakage and stop costly spills. The metal end connection of the gauge inserts into the valve stuffing box thus eliminating two common points for glass breakage:
Safeguard Level Gauge
Safeguard gauge replaces tubular glass that is mounted between tubular gauge glass valves. The packing nut on the tubular valve tightens around the metal nozzles of the Safeguard gauge, not glass. Nozzles match the O.D. of 5/8? glass or 3/4? glass.
5700 Bulk Tank Gauge
The 5700 Series Gauge provides a visual means for checking the contents of a bulk tank and a means for checking the injection rate of a chemical metering pump. The gauge is designed to operate in low to medium pressure applications up to 500 psig.
4400 Close-Mount Level Gauge
The KENCO close-mount level gauge is ideally suited for applications in which the level gauge must be mounted with a minimum of protrusion from the tank. Typical applications include offshore or corrosive atmospheres, packaged hydraulic equipment, steel mill pumps, surge tanks, radiator fluid levels.
The design of these gauges affords easy installation. Simply install the male thread adapter into the tank connection and then slide the gauge housing over these adapters and bolt gauge into place. The glass is protected from breakage by the gauge housing.
17000 Bulk Tank Gauge
The 17000 Gauge functions as a level indicator and also serves as a pump setting gauge. The rate scale can be calibrated in a variety of options, such as GPM, GPH, GPD, LPM, LPH, or LPD. The maximum pump rate for a 12? gauge section is 25 GPD. The sight tube in the 17000 is 1? O.D. glass, which makes it ideal for viscous fluids. The top and bottom connection for this gauge is 1? MNPT.
KTV Tubular Valves for Level Gauges
The KENCO Tubular Valve (KTV), when used with a KENCO Safeguard Level Gauge or KENCO EPG Level Gauge, provides maximum operator safety and environmental protection from a potential gauge glass failure. The KTV is designed for service in low to medium pressure applications up to 500 psig (34.47 bar).
ESP/ST Series Level Gauge
The KENCO Armored Level Gauge (Model ESP or ST) is a rugged tubular liquid level gauge that offers maximum impact from mechanical stress and impact. Product benefits include lower installation costs, reduced maintenance, unobstructed visual indication for your application. The gauge is adaptable to many different types of process connections. Armored frame and 90 degree instrument tees are available in a wide variety of materials. Wetted materials are limited to the O-Ring material, PTFE sight tube holder, and glass. The level gauge will operate in a medium pressure range up to 500 PSI. The ESP series offers extra glass protection from an outer tube of polycarbonate, which surrounds the gauge glass.

Sight Windows
Sight Windows are an effective and economical way of viewing tank, pressure vessel, piping system interiors. They are also referred to as Sight Glasses and are often replaceable or removable. Fluid clarity, color, level and flow can be monitored through the window. Sight Windows can be mounted by bolting, welding or direct insertion into the end of the tank or pipe. Welding may require a radius pad that conforms to the pipe or curved vessels or a flat pad that mounts to a flat tank wall.
KSW SIGHT WINDOWS
KSW Threaded Sight Windows are a low cost solution for viewing liquids. The hexagon head body with a male NPT mounting connection allows for easy installation. Clear glass lens is hermetically sealed and fused to the metal body to ensure leak-proof service and eliminate concerns typically found with traditional gasket type sight window assemblies. The optical clarity of the glass lens transmits an accurate view of the liquid being viewed in the window. Lens is flush with the front face of the body which allows for easy cleaning and prohibits build up of dirt and debris normally associated with sight windows having a recessed lens. KENCO KSW sight windows reliably meet and exceed the requirements of most applications.
