The Products of Fischer Measuring and Control Technology
Differential Pressure
The DE38 is a differential pressure transmitter / switch with a diaphragm measuring device and is suitable for measuring over-pressure, under-pressure, and differential pressure in the neutral liquid and gaseous media. The device may only be used for the purpose stipulated by the manufacturer. The manufacturer will not be liable for damage arising from incorrect or improper use.

The switching device is based on a robust and durable diaphragm measuring unit. The pressures to be compared have an effect on a spring-mounted measuring diaphragm that is in an idle state when the pressure is equalized.
In case of a pressure difference, a force acts on the measuring diaphragm. The force acting on the measuring diaphragm causes it to be moved towards the side of the lower pressure until the spring forces compensate for this force.
The movement of the diaphragm is transferred via a tappet into the core of the inductive displacement sensor. The electronics integrated into the device evaluate this movement and transform it into signals on the display, switch contacts, and optionally into an analog output signal. The can be dampened, spread, inverted, and transformed via a table function even if it is non-linear.
Humidity/Temperature
The FT90 is suitable for the measurement of humidity and temperature in neutral gaseous media. Optionally, the device can be used to measure the pressure, negative pressure, or differential pressure of neutral gaseous media. The device may only be used for the purpose stipulated by the manufacturer. The manufacturer will not be liable for damage arising from incorrect or improper use.

Devices with the order code FT90 ## ## ## # 0 # 000 R1 # # are classified as electrical equipment for use in po zone 2 (gases and vapors) and/or zone 22 (dust).

Level Indicator
The EA14F is an intelligent multifunction-level instrument that measures and displays level when connected to an NC54 or NC56 Capacitive Level Transmitter. The measured value can (optionally) be transmitted to the EA14F as a standardized 2-wire or 3-wire electrical signal. Its programmable limit detection functions enable it also to act as an accurate and versatile level switch.

Principles of Operation
The electronic module converts the analog signal from the level transmitter and then digitally processes these values. The microcontroller-based EA14F has a high degree of user programmability, making it a truly versatile device. The electronic module computes the level, controls the local digital display, and (optionally) produces a new analog signal output.
The measurements can be filtered, scaled, inverted, or linearised through a user-defined look-up table. The EA14F can be programmed to display the value of either input or converted output signal. The input signal can be converted using its freely-programmable look-up table function for linearisation or conversion to derived units of measurement, e.g., %, m³, Kg, etc. The external level transmitter is connected to and energized by the electronic module through a flexible signal cable terminated by a plug-in connector.
