About Tognella Valves
Tognella Valves is a world leader in design, production and distribution of hydraulic check and regulation components and valves, claiming the certification of its own Quality System in accordance with EN ISO 9001:2015 Standards.
Tognella S.p.a. history dates back to the last century, with two brothers Vittorino and Dorino Tognella who in 1957 decided to combine their technical experience and to establish “ F.lli Tognella Sdf “.
The challenge of that time, taken by the two Tognella brothers, was the one of manufacturing high quality products at a right price. This meant working in competition with international giants, but simplicity, rigour and wise administration permitted to that little company to become, during time, one of the main character on the national market. But it is during 80’s that consecration at international level arrives for Tognella S.p.a., that is now able to face the real world leaders in the field.
From the 90’s up to today
In 1992 the sons of Vittorino and Dorino Tognella take over the management: Ferruccio, Luigi and Fabio. The three of them have taken up the challenge, carrying on the work their parents begun, with the same tenacity.
During these years the process of internationalization of the company begins spending time on fairs and travels searching for trading strategies necessary to state the trademark “ FT “ in the foreign market. The purchase of the new headquarter office in Somma Lombardo, the current seat of F.lli Tognella Spa, allows the union of all craftsmen in a single plant.
The following step in 2000 has been the transformation from a single company to Tognella Group, result of synergies from the union of different firms: Sesino S.p.a., Lametars 2005 S.r.l., Special Service Seprio S.r.l., Tecnovi S.r.l. and National System S.r.l. Today Tognella Spa is a leader in hydraulic valves production for every kind of application; flow regulation, cartridge flow control, single-acting control valves, Cetop, stackable and solenoid valves.

Flow Rate Control Valves

Microfine double-acting flow control valves
It is the solution for application requiring special adjustment of small flow rates. It can be used for both hydraulic and pneumatic applications with flow rate up to max. 3 l/min.
Microfine single-acting flow control valve
It is the solution for application requiring special adjustment of small flow rates. It can be used for both hydraulic and pneumatic applications with flow rate up to max. 3 l/min. They can be used also with fluids different from oil, such as: gas and liquids in general.
In line double-acting flow control valves
The valves FT 1251/2-01 allow flow regulation in both directions. Of unmistakable style they are manufactured with materials also suitable for applications with fluids other than oil (such as: water, gas and liquids in general). They are suitable for application where working pressure does not exceed 210 bar, as an alternative to FT 257/2 (suitable up to 400 bar) or where ferrous materials cannot be used.
In line double-acting flow control valves Male Female threads
The valves FT 1251/2-01 allow flow regulation in both directions. Of unmistakable style they are manufactured with materials also suitable for applications with fluids other than oil (such as: water, gas and liquids in general). Cartridge flow control valves

Microfine cartridge double-acting flow control valves

Double-acting flow/braking control valves
They are composed of a needle throttling which allows a very sensitive control. They can be used for assembling in manifolds and integrated blocks and are also used as cylinder braking valves. Recommended filtration: 60 micron or inferior. Max. working pressure: 300 bar
Single-acting flow/braking control valves
They are composed of a needle throttling, inside which there is a ball single-acting valve. They can be used in the assembling in manifolds and integrated blocks and are also used as cylinder braking valves. Recommended filtration: 60 micron or inferior. Max. working pressure: 300 bar

Appreciated for their little sizes, suitable for their placing in control blocks. For both oleo-dynamic-pneumatic applications with flow rate up to max 3 l/min. they can be used with fluids different from oil, such as: gas and liquid in general.
Check Valves

In line stainless steel piston check valves
They are inserted in branches of the circuit where the free flow in one direction is allowed and the return flow in the opposite direction is not possible. In line stainless
steel single-pilot check valves in
Belonging to the same range of the in line single-acting valves, except that, thanks to a specific signal of pilot operated pressure, they allow the valve to open in the usually flow direction.
In line stainless steel double-pilot check valves
Belonging to the same range of the in line single-acting valves, except that, thanks to a specific signal of pilot operated pressure, they allow the valve to open in the usually flow direction.
In line stainless steel ball check valves with soft sealing

Cetop Flow Control Valves

Plate Double-acting flow control valves
They allow flow control in both directions.They are equipped with a needle properly set up for: • efficient metallic sealing; • flow linearity during opening; • accurate flow control for a wide range of flow rates
Plate Single-acting flow control valves
Their function is to control and eventually shut-off the flow in one direction, allowing a free return in the opposed one. The suitable dimensions allow to obtain in reduced spaces a remarkable mechanical resistance of components.
Plate Microfine double-acting flow control valves
They are the most suitable solution for those applications requiring precise adjustment characteristics or for low flow rate. They are provided with plate connections mod. CETOP 03 or interchangeable with the widely used valves ( kind 60 ).
Plate Microfine single-acting flow control valves
They are the most suitable solution for those applications requiring precise adjustment characteristics or for low flow rate. They are characterised by a great flow rate section in the direction of free flow. They are provided with plate connections mod.

Flow control valves, not compensated, for modular mounting with subplate surface in accordance with ISO 4401-03. It allows a fine fluid regulation in two directions even with low flow rate.

Manometers valves

In line gauge isolators with lateral 1/2″ port for inspection
