A fluoro resin tube containing premium liquefied gas is called a permeation tube. A certain amount of gas may be held in the tube when it is subjected to a particular temperature because liquefied gas osmotically permeates the tube wall in time increments.
As a result, by maintaining the tube at a given temperature and injecting a consistent amount of dilution gas, a carrier gas flowing at a constant speed (for calibration purposes) may be constantly formed.
