Delta Mobrey Level Measurement Products

A glass tube-type level gauge is the simplest device to read a level inside a tank. It works as a window enabling the operator to observe processes inside tanks, pipes, reactors or vessels. The type of glass used in the manufacturing of our sight glasses is borosilicate glass, and the valve’s body could be either made from carbon Steel or Stainless Steel.

This kind of crystal makes the level gauge good for aggressive fluids or steam since protective a mica sheet can be installed between the fluid and the glass. The biggest advantage of this type of gauge is the very low cost and the isolating valves allowing easy maintenance.

These level gauges provide high reliability for use in steam and process applications, specifically saturated steam, hot water, and aggressive fluids.

These are available in either Glass Tube, Reflex, or Transparent Types and have been used in industrial boilers and chemical aggressive media.

D45 Smart Level Transmitter D Series

The D45 Smart Level Transmitter is a probe most suited for measuring the level in pressurized tanks.  It is compact yet robust and is categorized as flameproof and intrinsically safe all with high accuracy. Equipped with a fully welded sensor which guarantees tightness for oil systems, even over long-term use.

This probe can be used with a wide range of connections, making it versatile, and is easily configurable with the D-Software. This digital product is part of a family of SMART transmitters, but this one is most beneficial where there is no external access to a tank.

MSP900SH and MSP900FH Open Channel Flow Ultrasonic  Flow Transmitters

The DMSP900SH for Level, Contents, and Open Channel Flow uses ultrasonic technology. Ultrasonic pulses are transmitted to and reflected from the liquid surface. The transmitter measures the ‘time-of-flight’ and determines the distance to the surface. By configuring the distance to the bottom of a vessel, the transmitter can then calculate the liquid level and contents (volume) for linear or non-linear vessels (cylindrical, domed, spherical, etc). For open channel flow, the transmitter can calculate the flow rate from the level for a wide variety of flumes and weirs.

An internal temperature sensor compensates for temperature effects. The level, contents, or flow measurement is transmitted through the 4–20 mA and HART output. If used with the DMCU900
HART® controller, this simplifies configuration and has a local display

DMSP422, DMSP400 AND DMSP500 Ultrasonic Level & Flow Measurement

The Delta Mobrey DMSP400 and DMSP500 Series is a liquid-level transmitter based on ultrasonic technology that is suitable for many liquid applications. Integral LCD display with push button controls and menu greatly simplify configuration and diagnostics.

DMCU900 Ultrasonic Control Units

The DMCU900 Series Universal Controller provides an interface between Delta Mobrey Ultrasonic Transmitters and operators or control systems. All models have a large LCD display with push-button menu-driven programming. Options are available for data logging, with a download facility.

The DMCU900 provides an intrinsically safe power supply for I.S. transmitters. The wall mount model has a protective hinged lid with clear visibility of the display. The DMCU900 series provides full functionality for the configuration and diagnostics of any Delta Mobrey HART ultrasonic transmitter.

This product, when used in conjunction with Delta Mobrey Ultrasonic level transmitters, can be used to display the level or volume of linear or non-linear tanks, measure open flow for many weirs and flume designs as well as give high or low alarms for storage tanks.

Delta Mobrey MLT100 DISPLACER Level Transmitter

The Delta Mobrey MLT100 Level Transmitter is one of the most advanced displacer-based devices on the market, coupling the time-proven buoyancy principle with state-of-the-art electronics in an instrument of high reliability and stability.

Special care has been taken in the design to ensure a small mounting envelope is maintained, resulting in reduced weight and associated savings in mounting.

The displacer element is made to length for each order and is suspended below the head on a stable
spring arrangement which is designed to minimize friction effects and improve performance.

The transmitter can be mounted directly into a vessel or may be externally mounted in a chamber to
allow isolation for planned maintenance or in-situ calibration checks.

Magnetic Horizontal Float Level Switch Chambers

Float chambers are used to facilitate the external mounting of a Mobrey Magnetic level switch onto a tank or pressure vessel, particularly where space inside the vessel is restricted or where the control must be isolated for routine maintenance whilst the plant is in operation.

A wide range of cast or fabricated chambers is available. Process connections may be specified top and bottom or side and side, and can be flanged, screwed or butt welded in a choice of sizes to suit
most plant installations. Exotic materials are also available.

Mobrey float-level switches are rugged, robust, and trusted globally for their long-term reliability in the harshest of environments and the most hazardous areas. Ideal for industrial applications such as pump control and high or low alarm duty on tanks and pressure vessels.

VLS Vibrating Rod Level Switch

The Vibrating Rod Level Switch (VLS) is the perfect solution for single-point level switching in free-flowing solids.  For tanks, silos, or hopper bins, and for a wide density range of solids from fine powders, and grains to aggregates. A single rod design provides the solution to tuning forks that may become blocked or bridged.

The vibrating rod is energized and kept in resonance by an electronic circuit. When covered by material, the damping of the vibration is detected by the electronics which switch the output relay after a configurable time delay. The vibrating rod level switch is the perfect solution for single-point level switching in free-flowing solids across a wide density range, from fine powders to grains. A single-rod design provides the solution to tuning forks that may become blocked or bridged.
