Lorric – Flowmeter Established under the moniker of He Wang Chang in Taiwan,  have sought to use the brand name of LORRIC to address the global market. Relative latecomers to the world stage, we in LORRIC try to convey our technological and R&D prowess using profound visual art and to convey our brand’s spirit, in order to accentuate the differences between us and other world-leading industry brands and to stress our brand’s distinguished characteristics.

Lorric calls out to Taiwan’s most outstanding creative partners to assist us in accentuating LORRIC’s three main brand characteristics, and fuse them together with visual art that corresponds to LORRIC’s brand essence. When creating visual art for LORRIC, we would like to infuse it with our brand’s spirit, such as is embodied in our “Paranoid about performance” slogan. In order to convey this idea to its fullest, we chose a very hard, time-consuming, yet very rich and sincere method of visual art: hand-drawn illustration, through which we have created the following three illustrations to convey our brand’s three main characteristics.

As mentioned before, we have taken a very peculiar life form, the sperm whale, as our brand’s symbol: The wisest and most courageous of whales, sperm whales are able to dive up to 2,000 meters into the ocean’s depths and face with courage the deepest and most hostile of environments – truly the ocean’s embodiment of wisdom and power. Taking it as inspiration, LORRIC embodies that creature’s spirit in the company’s brand, from product R&D, manufacturing, material selection, marketing, and sales.

In charge of creating our hand-drawn illustrations is Taiwanese cutting-edge artist Ye Xin-Wen, who infused the illustrations’ factory-like industrial style with inspiration taken from fairytale fantasy, science-fiction, and steampunk, and them made by a combination of traditional hand-drawing techniques along with modern digital image-manipulation. This year-long process came to fruition with our brand’s three distinguished concept illustrations: “Challenge”, “Focus” and “Leap”. This series of illustrations was then awarded in Japan, Switzerland, the United States, and China from 2015 to 2016, you may see these honors as below.

FP-AS510 patent AxleSense paddlewheel flowmeter

Made in Taiwan and featuring the patented AxleSense technology, Inspected and proofed by SGS, RoHS compliant, the FP-AS510 has a measuring range that doubles that of other brands, which allows for the detection of any disappearance of the paddle which tends to cause zero-flow problems, on top of large indicator lights and a large screen that allows for more convenient on-site supervision. A flowmeter’s inability to detect flow may originate from problems in the pump, pipes, the equipment itself, or because of problems of crystallization, wear and tear or fracturing of the paddlewheel flowmeter that may cause the paddle to be damaged or fall off.

LORRIC’s patented AxleSense technology actively detects any paddle abnormalities and offers clear information for the on-site manager to see, and will not simply display a passive “zero-flow” notice. Regarding industry 4.0 users, LORRIC’s paddlewheel flowmeter’s detailed information can be integrated with the factory’s management system, which helps on-site workers to solve any flow problems even faster.

EchoSense Clamp-on Type Ultrasonic Flowmeter

With “EchoSense” technology installation, you can skip the hassle of additional settings. It automatically detects and adapts to various pipe regulations used worldwide, such as Taiwan regulations, Japanese regulations, American regulations, and more. Say goodbye to manual configurations and enjoy the convenience of seamless integration with EchoSense. EchoSense technology goes beyond acquiring pipeline-related data. It also collects ultrasonic detection data and applies advanced algorithms to analyze the fluid state within the pipeline.

Unlike other external ultrasonic flowmeters in the market that struggle to differentiate between zero flow, flowmeter misalignment, excessive impurities in the liquid, and changes in fluid sound velocity, EchoSense takes a different approach. LORRIC redesigned the whole workflow of ultrasonic probe installation. The goal was to make it so easy, it can be installed even with only one worker. After countless effort and field test, LORRIC finally realized it with our patented guide rails. With it our users can easily install probes even in a confined space. In addition, users have more flexibility selecting an installation location.

LORRIC patent metal guide rails are designed to work with our medium size probe TM1(2 to 8 inch pipe) and large size probe TL1(8 to 16 inch pipe). Just like our plastic guide rails, LORRIC’s guide rails provide long-term stability, prevent long term wear and tear due to temperature and vibration. Please use 8mm wrench or hex socket nut driver to quickly tighten the hose clamp. LORRIC guide rails are applicable for installing probes on the same or opposite sides. Sell with FU-TX 310, do not sell separately.
